He looks different or should I say his size is different from form to form, for a tormented he the size of a Dreamer, as a Nightmare he be about the size of a man, and for his Human... He kinda small, it's one of the reasons why Mal doesn't like Others taller then him (but it like this with all Nightmares, but the majority don't even know what their true form looks like )

But a Nightmare is called a light Eater
(They eat Dreamer hearts, Fairfin, anything that's is or has Light magic )

You know that nasty black goo Mal sleep in? Well that what happened when Mal rip another nightmare from its frame.

Then a Nightmare get ripped out there first a mixture of a black goo and Shadows, but then they take form, a Nightmare however is very weak and vulnerable outside of their frame and will eventually die because they have no way of absorbing and processing fear without there Dreamer body, but they can however live a little longer by eating Light Magic ( or things like Fairfin....)

He does not like being out of his frame and definitely doesn't like being called cute....he really Moody and very grumpy
