Small thing about Zeharu and their Newborns:

Shortly after a Mother births her offspring, she'll bathe them with her tongue (sort of like what you see dogs/cats/etc... do). The reason they do this is to help build up their babies immune system.

The Zeharu world is filled with strong bacteria, a human without protective gear, would die in less than twenty four hours being in the Zeharu world (Zyzaniah). It applies to newborn Zeharu, in either form, it's why a Mother must bathe her baby/babies, or they'll die from a severe infection.

She only tongue bathes her babies in true form, if she births in her human form, she can make her offspring shift and then will clean them. Though it typically happens an hour or more after birthing, since a Mother is essentially paralyzed for an hour+ while her body recovers from the trauma of birthing.

Fathers can do it too, but it's very rare that they do. Most of the time Fathers won't be allowed around their babies until the Mother has cleaned up/been cleaned up. It's not sure why yet, but there's a certain scent females give off while birthing, that will make a Father want to devour his mate and young. Some think it was some ancient 'survival of the fittest' but it hasn't been explained yet.

In the case of Roiyaru being born, Kai sat at the entrance of the cave Eiro birthed in and purposely kept yelling,
"Is he here yet?"
"Are you done yet?"
"Can I come in now?"
Eiro bit him for that one, since she was in labor for 8 hours listening to that xD
