Going to try stepping it up and try to shade with more than one light source. This should be fun. (and really difficult)
Here's what I've done so far. I'm just laying down some different colors first and trying to figure out what looks best. I'll begin adding detail tomorrow.

Oooh, it looks amazing already!! I love working with two light sources because it's more attractive to the eye, it makes the central image pop, and it gives the drawing a more three-dimensional look. Good luck!
