in the redub of lucky star by 4kids tv and nickelodeon, konata's dad was once a top ranked soldier in the cold war,
and he loves tactical rpgs and first person shooters, and in the reboot it was 2 years after her dad got remaried to karren who was once an army nurse, and since karren married konata's dad sojiro, karren's son kenji became konata's younger brother. there'll be new characters and old characters from the redub as well.

in the reboot, ms.nanako kuroi who was konata's teacher has a
crush on the new gym teacher named mr.mike maximus, and
edward thomason is the new character in the reboot, he's konata's next-door neighbor who
moved into the neighborhood.

in the reboot, akira kogami has
matured since the redub, but ocasionaly she would have a bad temper, and her assistant minoru siraishi has matured as well, but
he is kinda like knuckles in sonic boom.
