Art theft is a serious crime. You are stealing someone's intellectual property and could go to jail. The lines on this magically appear in the correct color without any rough sketches, therefore, this piece was stolen directly from the official art. Crediting them isn't enough, stolen art is stolen art. No ifs, ands, or buts. Good day to you, sir, and please don't trace others' art. (...This applies to your girlfriend as well.)
*edit to above: By rough sketches, I meant it was spontaneous. There were some rough sketches, it's just everything was practically spontaneous. Didn't mean to sound mean, BTW. Sorry if you're offended. Thank you for reading this, and have a nice day. c:
Neoven8tr, you should be able to recognise a well known Nintendo image. Don't call me a thief because my girlfriend painted one of her favourite Nintendo images. It's a game. So calm the hell down. You didn't offend me, you just made yourself look stupid. art theft. Lol.
Othatguy, you don't have this image in your gallery. And if you're referring to your attempt at painting the stars, I saw that, and can see from my Girlfriends painting that she definitely doesn't need to improve, thank you.

IP is a legal issue. Say what you want, it's not going to change the fact that you (Or your girlfriend) are getting credit for work that isn't yours.
And, it's spelled 'recognize'. e-e
It's spelled recognise in the correct form of English, not USA English. And this is for you: THIS IMAGE WAS NOT THOUGHT UP BY MY GIRLFRIEND, IT WAS ALREADY AN IMAGE THAT MY GIRLFRIEND HAS SIMPLY PAINTED ON THIS GAME AS A 3D RENDITION. Good god you are so weird.
Weird? I've never heard of someone who laughs at laws they've broken and who have the potential to go to jail because of that. And, European/Australian English isn't the correct form of English, just A form, neither are technically correct, but most people on the Internet use USA English. I apologize for not knowing you used European/Australian English, but I'm NOT apologizing for telling you this was stolen. 3D renditions ARE STEALING. Art is a thing MADE UP BY AN ARTIST'S SELF. The tiniest bit of artwork from another that was taken without permission is labeled as Copyright Infringement. There are some exceptions to this rule, like certain types of fan art, but this certainly ISN'T one, as it is obviously a replica, and a bad one at that.
