Tired, literally feel dead....hbu?

Same, tired and feeling dead. My biology honors teacher really likes giving out homework.

My algebra II teacher is the same, I have five assignments to make up T^T

Oh god, that sounds awful. My Algebra 2 teacher is actually pretty nice, she's really low-key when it comes to homework. I have a test tomorrow, but it's pretty much review. It was supposed to be on Friday, but school got cancelled.

That's good, chill teachers are the best. I have like 0 of those this year

I've already put a lot of thought into them, but I probably won't share it publicly until after their human refs come out. (I already love my space babies so much)

The sun, just now beginning to set over this prosperos kingdom, washes its gentle golden rays over the city of white. The waves peacefully wash up on the beach without any threat of storm in sight, the cool breeze brings with it the faint scent of salt from the sea, the sky itself is a brilliant mixture of orange, purple, and deep blue. The few clouds lingering in the sky are a vivid, bright pink with a golden lining as the sun peaks over them. An aura of peace lingers over the entire kingdom. Beyond the fine houses and mansions of the subjects, however, lies the king's castle, this grand structure rising above all else, basking in the evening glow.

On a wide, open platform overlooking the ocean, an especially royal Aitazatl watches the dying light of day. A majestic crown unlike any other rests upon his head, jewelled earrings dangle from all four of his ears, and rings and necklaces line the length of his sepentine body and arms, all of their jewels glittering in the light. But, even as he sits here, something about sunsets have always terrified the old King Leonidas. Perhaps it's the fear of the sun's permanent disappearance. He's seen unrelenting darkness before, after all, and the memory still haunts him...

As the sun sets on the glistening kingdom the darkness of the night slowly begins consuming the sky. From the dark skies flew a large serpentine being. Her dark red wings sparkled in the remaining light as she laid her eyes on the magnificent city below. Her eyes were cold as she gazed down, unimpressed with scenic beauty of the area. Her only concern was the Aitazatl presence she could feel, for that peaked her interest more.

(I'm currently looking for a theme for the twins, because out of all of my characters they are definitely the most deserving.)

(If you paint this I can't wait to see it, it will be gorgeous! *o*)

(I could help you find some, all I'll need to know really is their personality, but I think I'm about to find out what Juno is like XP

Also, a question because I'm curious: Since old guys like Leo have trouble getting around, could the King use his magic as a Light variant to enchant objects to carry him? I've been imagining him riding around on a floating golden throne in his human form and a giant sized version of it in his true form when he needs to get around somewhere :p )

(Oh he totally could, Light variants can get away with a lot of stuff if you just blame it on magic XD

And you choose such amazing music your help would be great! I'll probably be picking multiple songs mainly because of they're backstory is so in depth and explains why they are how they are now >:P)

A sudder runs down Leonidas' spine as the light starts to fade from the sky, and he summons a few orbs of light with his magic to brighten his surrounding area. As he's doing so, however, he notices a dark figure approaching him in the sky. //A visitor, perhaps? ... And a fellow Aitazatl, it seems.//

(I'm not sure how much Leo should know about Juno, but I feel like he should recognuze that she's someone higher than he is when she gets closer 'XP )

(I just play a lot of video games, or listen to the soundtracks of games I haven't played, that's where the majority of my music comes from XD )

Juno's eyes narrow as soon as she spots the light Aitazatl. With a single stroke of her wings she cuts through the air and stops, hovering right before Leonidas' platform. She stares him down, her expression blank. Her wings spread out, completely blocking out any remaining light from the sun and casting Leonidas into shadows. His few orbs served as the only source of light.

Most Aitazatl know about these two since they've been around since like forever, but not a lot is known about them personally)

The white Aitazatl stares wide-eyed as Juno abruptly stops in front of him, and a feeling of intense dread fills him when her wings block out the light... Nevertheless, the old king clears his throat--he has a reputation to uphold, after all. "Welcome," Leonidas speaks, his voice carrying a sort of rumble to it and clearly expressing his age, "I don't believe we've been accquainted before...? I am... Leonidas, King of this world. You are...?"

I'm trying to think of songs for Juno at the moment, I'm seeing something dark, powerful and mysterious, hmm...

If you'd like to listen to them, I've got some songs picked out for Maldius already too :p )

The dark serpent looks around, seemingly bored with her surroundings. "What a disappointing settlement...this hardly compares to the homeworld." She brings her attention back to Leonidas. "Juno, Guardian of Osciri." An almost challenging expression flashes in her glowing eyes but it disappears as quickly as it came.

And yeah, Juno is all power. Her brother on the other hand is a little more gentle and 'nice' xP)

(Ahhh and I forgot to mention an important detail on Leo, on his hind right arm is an unusual key that's bound tightly to his arm with small chains and some cloth. >.>

King Leonidas huffs faintly, agreeing with Juno, even if this kingdom is his pride. "True... but our homeworld has had much longer to develop. Given time, this feeble little colony could grow into so much more... There haven't been any wars or uprisings after I became King, and the flea-bitten dragons were so underdeveloped when I first came here, they could hardly do anything correctly. They've advanced so much, just in my time... They'll surely be useful down the line."

Juno hums in acknowledgment. "I suppose that could be considered a feat...in the eyes of underachievers." She casts her gaze over the city again. "However advancement doesn't always correlate to success, if they become too advanced they will revolt. You're on your last years, who will take your place once you're gone?" She folded her wings close to her sides and floated over Leonidas' head.

The Aitazatl king narrows his eyes as he listens to Juno speak, but he merely clears his throat again. "Oh, I know, I know... that is how most settlements are... But I can assure you, even if I die without an heir or successor, these ones will never rebel... I have... ways, of making them behave. Unless..." Leonidas doesn't finish his sentence and really only mumbles the last word, but in his mind, he knows what the deciding factor is... //Unless the portal is opened and Maldius... or what's left of him, is freed...//

(I'm also suddenly super sleepy too, like really sleepy X'P I don't think I can stay up too much longer [and I've probably messed something up with Leo, writing for him when I'm this sleepy >.>])
