/Asexual reproduction: They use this because they hardly ever move around in the mountain. They have severe back problems after birth because they need to push outward, they only have one child that looks very similar to them.
/breath oxygen/carbon dioxide: They go into the ocean to breath the oxygen created by underwater vegetation.

/Gems: There are three gems that help Exposors survive better. The biggest helps them communicate, because they hardly ever see eachother. The medium one helps them summon a strong sheild to protect themselves. The smallest is their special ability [which is different for each Exposor] and a lie detector, which is useless on their planet, but they still have it.
/Gills/lungs: They evolved from a large fish looking creature, and took on human looks, so they are used to swimming and breathing in water. [I mean, their whole planet is an ocean]
/Heart: Stronger than a human heart, pumps blood ten times faster so they can keep moving in water.
