but, yeah, people can be pretty bad :/

Seems that people often forget that artstyles are formed by real life things and imitating others' styles.

And that styles can wind up being very similiar even when artist A has never even seen artist B's art before. If you've got the same art inspirations as someone else, your styles could wind up being similiar with no intentional copying going on.

And, in the event that the copying is intentional, it may be the same deal as people imitating the Disney style or akira toriyama's style, it's out of admiration for that style.

I myself used to try really hard to imitate Yoshidrawr and a few other Yoshi artists (but mainly Yoshidrawr) back when in 2OI2 because I LOVED how they drew Yoshi. Of course you wouldn't be able to tell that now, but it shows in my old work.

Anyway, your style is a bit unique compared to what I see on here, how could anyone say you're copying? I don't see any styles like yours!

Also, on the "don't like, don't look" philosophy, it's a good thing to follow in most cases.
(Because mouthing off to people about their fetish art or other posts is honestly pointless.)

But if you see stolen art and you don't like it, something needs to be said or done.
I've seen several users on here straight up /steal/ stuff off dA and it drives me mad when no one calls them out on it, or worse, they get praised for stealing. If there's ever anything that deeply pisses me off, art-wise, it's that.
And unfortunatelym since I lack a dA account, I'm unable to notify the artists of the stealing.
