Sometime after Jay & Willoughby concluded their quest to stop Dorian from destroying Life, Death & Everything in Between, Jay met her untimely demise in the Mortal-Realm after being struck by a careless driver.

After waking [if you can call it that lol] to find she is in Limbo, Jay found herself strapped with a messenger bag filled with loose items. The oh-so charmingly rude Seth then comes onto the scene & explains that in order to solve her puzzle - which will explain the purpose in her life - & pass on to Death, she must first reunite all of the random things in her bag with their owners, also stuck in Limbo, so that they may finally rest & continue on to Death, as well. But, for whatever reason, Jay has a LOT more items packed with her than she should...

Regardless, Jay trudges forward with her antagonistic partner so she can achieve her final peace & to find Willoughby, the Grim Reaper himself, so that they may be reunited & he can sort out the chaos that seems to have been let loose upon the newly departed souls in Limbo.

But, Jay learns Willoughby has locked himself into a frozen state that requires his brother & Keeper of Life, Dorian, to help revive him, or else Willoughby is doomed to this lifeless state. Jay puts her troubles aside to rescue the man that had saved her once before with Seth & Malakai Nyx aiding her & Dorian, of course, attempting to stop her from saving his brother.

Oh well, anything is fair in Life, Death & Everything in Between!
