Usually I get an feel for a picture upon looking at it. Perhaps you tried using to many colors, so the emotions could not get through properly? (^w^)
Or maybe I don't recognize it because I forgot the feeling, even the weary idea of it? (_ _III)
I can't tell if it is a good work or not like this, so forgive me.
I would assume a art has failed if it does not convey the idea it is suppose to into others though. Don't take it wrongly, I mean well by saying this. Perhaps others do not see it as well, and thus by telling this, your now aware of something you might not have realized. So sorry if you take offence, but to me honesty must come first. It might just be me though, because my emotional compass is broken. (^w^)
Ask someone else to tell what they see in it as well, just to be safe.
