She and her twin brother (Mathews father) liver with there parents in a small town in Oregon. She moved away as she started to study medicine and psychology. She hadnt much relationships since she often was to busy for it but one day she found a very nice and loving man and got married. (she was around 30 years) they lived 5 years happyly together then her husband was killed on a field trip, he was a soldier.
She suffered under his loved ones death and fell into depression and struggled to keep going but her brother helped her through this hard time so she could live on.
She started to work at the Rockhill Asylum shortly after she gratued she took a break after what had happened to her husband. Again a world broke down for her as her brother and his wife died. But she got herself together for Mathew. She is really glad what a bright young man he became.
