At first of course he believed to do something good that this was all for Kilians own sake, the other scientist manipulated him to believe that even more. But at somepoint his father realized that what he was doing is wrong then he lost his mind completely and ended his own life.
So Kilians father left his son behind in the cruel scientists hands.
The man never revieled to Kilian what happened to his father he told him that he went on a trip to experiment on something and that he will come back as soon as Kilian would make good results in the experiments. As soon his father was away the scientist got way more extreme in the experiments and methods he started to do brainsurgery on him, which left permanent brain damage on him. That was going so on and on. And Kilian was only able to go through that suffering because he believed that his father would come back. He often was all alone in his small room in the laboratory that he started to talk to his teddybear which he named Berry. One day he found out about his fathers death and snapped he killed the scientist in the monster form they created. He was found a few days after because some teenagers thought that the house where the laboratory was in was abonded and they sneaked in. Kilian was in his human form then. They called the police which brought him to the Rockhill Asylum.
