I'M BACK FROM MY VACATION!
I can upload more art and more of Sebastian's story now!

This story is a mess. I got lazy at the end.

The next two will be set on mature, so make sure you can see them.

Backstory: V

POV: Sebastian Asher Kyran, 200 (visibly 10), 5'1, 92 lbs

As I was cleaning the kitchen, the landline phone began to ring. No one ever called this number, so I figured it must have been important. As I picked up and answered the phone, an excited voice split my eardrums.

"Sebastian!! The party at the Rose Hall is tomorrow, aren't you so excited? I'm thrilled to be able to see you again!" The annoying, shrill voice sounded vaguely familiar, so I didn't hang up immediately.

"Uh... Who is this?" I asked, shyly. Although I'm quiet in person, I never usually have problems conversing with people. However, speaking over the phone is a different story.

"Oh!! This is Patty!! Heh~ Your voice is even cuter than I remember."

"Patty....How did you get this number?" Confused, I tapped my fingers on the table, trying to solve how she managed to contact me.

"I looked you up. I remember our goodbye clearly! When I asked for your name you said 'Sebas' then cut yourself off and instead said 'Asher." She sighed into the microphone. "I figured your real name was Sebastian, so I asked my tech-savvy friend if he had any clue who you were. At first he was confused, but those cute little claws on your left hand were the main clue!"

"So, you tracked me online, and found the phone number to my parents' house?" I curled my fingers in and rested my hand.

"Yep!! But, seriously, Sebastian, answer my question!"

"What question...?" I don't remember her asking me anything. But before she could speak, I added, "Don't call me Sebastian."

"What?! Why not?? Sebastian is so cute~ It really fits your handsome face. Anyway, you're going to the party, right? We'll be able to dance together!!"

"Refrain from flirting with me, I'm not interested in you. We spoke once, then you managed to find my house and phone number. I will not be attending the party as long as you're there." As soon as I finished talking, she started.

"Sebastian, you're totally in love with me, though! You cried on my shoulder, it had to be love at first sight! Why don't you at least consider going to the party? Please~?"

"Patty, seriously, stop flirting with me. I'm a minor; you shouldn't talk to me in such an inappropriate way. On top of that, I'm not interested in anyone right now. It's the last thing I should be concerned about. I cried because I was a little stressed out, that's all." I felt blood rush to my face. The conversation over the phone became incredibly embarrassing for me, as Patty reminded me of every detail from the morning I met her. When I first saw her, I thought she was a toddler until she jumped in my face. I didn't mean to look, but her chest was the first thing that I noticed. I don't ever want to accidentally see a woman's cleavage ever again; I'm not a pervert.

"Sebastian...? Helllooooooo????"

"What? Oh. Sorry, I got distracted." I had missed what she said while I was thinking. But it's like she read my mind, and repeated herself.

"Is there any way for you to change your mind? You should at least come to make some friends." She sounded like a puppy begging for treats, so I couldn't be a total jerk to her.

"...Fine, I've made my final decision. If you want me to go to the party, please don't wear anything too revealing or bright."

"Too revealing? I wanted to wear the dress I did when we first met...." She sounded extremely disappointed, but quickly added, "I'll wear a poofy pink dress instead! I've probably bothered you enough already, so I'll go ahead and listen to this one request~!"

"Thank you." I heaved a sigh of relief. Avoiding absolutely all awkward moments with her seems impossible, but at least I won't accidentally embarrass myself if she decides to jump in my face again.

"Okay, the party starts at 6 PM tomorrow! Remember that all kinds of people will be there, and it's a peaceful occasion! I've gotta go, see you then~!" Before I could say bye, she hung up.

Although the conversation was short, I still feel worn out from talking to her. I stretched and put the phone back, hoping that she wouldn't call me again.

Glancing at the clock on the wall, I picked up my cleaning supplies and finished cleaning the kitchen, living room, dining room, family room, the two bathrooms, and my bedroom. In total, I took eight hours making sure the house was spotless. Before I killed her, the only thing I would watch my mom do is cook and clean. I figured that's the only thing she ever did, so I tried to keep my life together by cleaning constantly. Now, I freak out if the house gets dirty, just like mom did.

I never cleaned my parents' bedroom, in fact, I tend to avoid going near the door. Going in there would just bring bad memories back into my life, and it's probably best to block out that darkness. Though, as much as I try to forget, I still hear my mom telling me that I'm a bad boy and deserve to be punished. Thinking about the pain she put me through makes me want to tear someone's flesh off.

After I put the cleaning supplies away, I lie down on my bed and stare at the ceiling. Before Tom died, he showed me how to pay bills and manage money. I've been doing a pretty decent job managing the house for these past 40 years. It did get hard once Tom wasn't here to help, but I adjusted rather well. Acting like an adult isn't fun.

I turned my head and looked to the clock on the bedside table. It was digital, and even though I prefer traditional clocks, it's easy to read the big white numbers. "5:14 AM". A little less than 13 hours before the party.

I must have dozed off, because when I woke up, the entire bedroom was filled with warm sunlight. Thinking about getting ready, I throw myself off my bed and remove my shirt.

'I normally wear nice clothes, but what can I do to make them nicer?' I thought to myself as I opened the closet. Picking out several shirts and pants, I place them on my bed and look at my options. After several minutes deciding, I settle with a white button down, dark vest, and dark pants. Feeling confident in my choice of outfit, I then head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair to complete the look.

After I finished getting ready, I waited until it was time to head out. My gut tickled with butterflies; I felt somewhat nervous. Not because I had to go dance with a girl or I forgot how to dance, but because I haven't been to the Rose Hall for years.

I slipped on my shoes and walked out the house, locking the door behind me. Huge, shadowy wings sprouted from my back and I immediately lifted off and flew to the obvious gold palace decorated with red and green.

As I flew down and my feet gently touched the ground, I looked up at the massive structure. Huge golden roses were decorating the outside, with real roses wrapped perfectly around the sculptures. Although there seemed to be an endless amount of the flowers, the decorations were so perfectly placed, it was almost surreal.

As I took in the beautiful sight, someone grabbed my hand. "Sebastian~! I'm so glad you came to see me! I was sure you would chicken out or something!" The voice was so loud and obnoxious, I didn't even have to double check that it was Patty.

"Hello, Patty," I said blandly. "Thank you for inviting me. Let me escort you inside." I glanced down at her and secretly checked her dress to make sure it fit what I had asked. It was bright, but it covered her body entirely.

"Oh, Sebastian you're such a gentleman~!" Patty linked her arm with mine and, together, we walked inside. Outside may have been pretty, but inside was gorgeous. The floor was waxed so much that it was like walking on a lake. Above, there was a rose-decorated chandelier with little flames coming out of the center of each rose bud. Every single gold flower on the walls were shiny and reflected warm light around the entire room.

The owner of this palace was standing on an indoor balcony, looking down at the variety of people here. He was short and stocky, but very handsome. His hair was deep green, along with light stubble that trickled around his sharp jawline. Behind him was his husband, who had dark skin and breathtaking red hair. A beautiful man who owns a beautiful palace with his beautiful husband. I wish I was in his place instead.

As Patty and I found our way to the middle of the floor, she wrapped her body around mine. Her voice was soft, but still incredibly hyper. "We should dance! You know how to, right?"

"Of course I know how to dance. However, I can't if you're keeping my hands locked in place." As I narrowed my eyes, she got the message. I felt her grip let go and she reached up to put her hands on my shoulders. I put one hand on her waist, and grabbed her other hand.

Patty looked up at me and blushed as I began to lead her steps. She was so infatuated that she was messing up and kept accidentally stepping on my toes. "Pay attention, Patty. You're stepping on my feet."

"Oh! I'm sorry Sebastian!" Her face turned even pinker as she blushed from embarrassment. She started following my feet to the soft music. The main instrument was the harp; one of my favorites. "So, who taught you how to dance?"

"Hm? When I was young, my mother taught me how to dance. If I acted embarrassed or messed up the steps, she would smack me and tell me to redo it. Due to that treatment, I learned pretty quickly." I smiled at the blonde vampire.

"Your mom hit you if you stumbled?" She pouted a little and looked up at me. "How old were you?"

"Maybe 120? That would be about 6 years old. I know several dances by heart, because of her." Patty kept stepping on my toes due to lack of concentration, but I forgave it.

"Your mother shouldn't have hit you! That's so mean...."

"It's okay, I killed her. She made me suck the blood of my only friend." I shrugged, not too concerned about it.

"Woah, what? Where was your dad?" She stopped dancing and pulled me over to a corner.

"Patty, we don't need to talk about this right now." She began to piss me off, however, I continued to remain calm.

"Sebastian...." Her eyes turned red and she looked down to the floor. "Please tell me the whole story... I don't know why you're so sad, and that's making me sad."

"Who said I was sad?" I tilted my head, though she was right. After my mom died, I haven't really felt any emotions except for annoyance, sadness, and anger.

Patty lowered her gaze and twiddled her fingers a bit. "You did. Not with words, but with your eyes. I know you're unhappy... Please tell me why."

The girl cornered me, so I opened my mouth and began to talk. I spoke about my childhood. My mother. My father. I told her how much I despised the world. I kept talking and talking until there was almost nothing left to tell her.

Pulling up these memories didn't phase me in the slightest. Patty, on the other hand, was sobbing. I grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes. "Are you okay?"

She wiped her tears and moved her gaze away from mine. "Yes, I'm fine. I have one question, though." She paused, thinking of a way to word it, then spoke again. "What did you think of me when we first met? You barely spoke to me, sucked my blood, then cried in my arms. I'm still confused." Her voice trailed off as she waited for my response.

"You reminded me of someone. Eager to befriend everyone and open to others. Even other vampires try to avoid me, but you stayed in my way. You were so reminiscent of my friend, I couldn't help but treat you like her." I would have left it at that, but I continued. "I'm incredibly thankful to have met you. Although this may only be our second encounter, I can see us spending a long time together."

"Are... you.. confessing to me?" Patty's eyes lit up excitedly. "We'll get married and have twenty kids and-"

"Patricia, stop that. I'm only 10, and you're an adult. That's disgusting." I felt my skin crawl. I meant we would be friends, not marry each other!

"I can wait~" She winked and grinned, showing that she was joking.

I sighed, and pulled her back to the middle of the floor. "Stop being gross. Let's go finish the last dances."

Listening to the instruments, we slow danced together until the last guests left.

Aw wasn't that just so cringeworthy?? I hope you guys liked this story! Sorry for my lack of uploads!

Next two stories will probably not be suitable for kids. So, just in case you guys want to read them, make sure you can see mature posts.

One story will be Asher's parents before they had him and once he was born. You'll actually get to see what his parents look like, too! He looks a lot like his mom.

The other will be Patty's backstory, which will include some sexy time

ANOTHER THING--
Although in Patty's backstory there will be some heavy Asher and Patty "love" happening, please don't ship them. If they were to get in a real relationship, everything would cripple between them. They're too friendly with each other to be lovers.
