Amai: *looks surprised* I didnt know humans could spout steam out their noses! This was a good day to visit a cave! *she quickly writes in her book about cloe/ her tail wags excitedly*

Lydia: I'm looking for colorful stones to sew into some sweaters. What, may I ask, are you doing here?

Amai: Oh the stones in the pool of water over here should be up to standard in the fashion sense. Myself well I'm actually looking for fungi specimens. I'm working on a book you see and I'm trying to cover all plant life located in afai for it. *she smiles*

Lumen: "I am in search of a rare cave mineral. It tends to be found near large bodies of water. Due to it being created from water degradation. What might you be doing here? Because there is more to you than what meets the eye....."

Amai: Hm oh yes you must be referring to a water stone. They're commonly found in areas like this one or in marshes. For myself, I'm looking for fungi and other plants that evolved to only living in the dark. I'm writing a book about all the plant life in Afai you see. I already made one about the animals so might as well cross off plants from the check list. *she smiles lightly*

Kawatta: "Woah! You look about my age!....I have always liked people with the big wide spectacles thing goin' on! But your also a hybrid.....And I have a weakness for hybrids.....Hmmm? Oh, I am in here in search of someplace to rest....I am homeless you see! In a foreign land too, so yeah....Gonna eat some random cave stuff....."

(He has no idea xD It does make sense Kawatta would meet her, since he traveled to Afai first before anywhere else :3)

Lumen: "Ah! A fellow Mycologist! I do not commonly stumble across fellow mycology experts! What a momentous occasion. I would definately like to assist you in your study. That is, if it is not inconvenient."

Amai: I highly suggest you don't eat any of the cave plant life... Most you see are poisonous. Looks can be deceiving. Though I'm small in stature I make up with age. Though again I am quite young so you may be right. * she smiles*

(Yas xD I would love to do roleplaying this evening or this weekend, but my life is considerably hectic at the moment ;-: I can do lil post installments on this throughout the weekend and maybe this evening. Amai: Well not just mycology I'm partially knowledgeable in most subjects.. one of the many reasons I command this area.But yes it is quite fascinating to see another with an intellect as mine to converse with. *she pushes up her glasses* Oh Id greatly appreciate the help! And is not at all inconvenient I do enjoy the company of others. Especially since my small size can be a bit.. how to say inconvenient.

Amai: *she laughed slightly* I see. Due to my animal counter part, my height never shall change than that of a toddler. My animal counter part being pomeranian. So I completely understand the hindrance of height. * she examined him a bit then holds her hand out to him* I'm Amai a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Amai: So.. it's not bad?... *She peaks up from her hat and laughs a bit from what he said* You like to smell our fur?.. *she slowly regains her composure and smiles softly* That is.. a bit strange.... but everyone has their own quirks...

Amai: Ah well most of that thesis was speculation and hypothesis. Lumen's entire face lit up in anticipation, Curiosity and excitement. "Why yes indeed! I would love too! It is a true honor to meet a scholar of your stature. I once dreamed of being a scholar once. But please, do elaborate on your current project!"

Amai : *she laughed* Nonono it'll look the same whether it be upside down or right side up. And how do the glasses work?... hmm how can I explain it.. Oh, I know. Think of them as a part of your eyes. Your eyes by themselves can't see very well but with the glasses on it sort of completes your vision so you are able to see. * she squinted a bit trying to make out the fuzzy shape of Kawatta* Perhaps you need a pair of glasses as well...

Amai: Well from my knowledge of the war of expansion. Hybrids such as myself have been collared by what seemed to be an unbreakable spell bound collar. When activated we would lose control of our cognitive function and only obey what ever we were told by the maker of the collars. But for the last few years, I've been doing endless amounts of trials and errors until I've actually done it. I unlocked the secret of the spell bound collar! And I already took off mine and another's... I believe his name was Zeus. Though he still decides to wear his he is able to take it off when ever he pleases! Now my project is to have all the hybrids that have survived the war de-collared! *she smiled happily as her tail wagged very fast.* So if you ever come across another collared hybrid take him to a mage or anyone with a high enough skill in magic and have them speak the word Vinixl. it should pop the collar off.

Kawatta was glad to of met this hybrid stranger. He loved meeting new oeople, but he enjoyed seeing spectacles first hand.

"Oh okay! Let me know if they invent those! *Kawatta listened intently, one eye fixed on Amai while the other went crosseyed. This occured often when he was excited.

"I see! So its kinda like having bigger eyes! I can only imagine the stuff you could see with eyes the size of melons! *Kawatta laughed in defeat. He had no money to purchase glasses. Let alone food or water.

"Ah, I probs do....Sadly, I ain't haves the pockets for anythin fancy like them......I am lucky to get enough for bread crust Kyehehe! I get by though....My nose works better than my eyes I guess.....Maybe if I stare at the sun all day tomorrow, it will lead me to some cool spectacles like yours! I once found an egg that way!...."

Lumen nodded as Amai explained her project. It intrigued him, but also relieved him of the worries he had been bearing on the subject of having to slay companion hybrids because of possible reactivation.

"Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! You managed to find the solution! You live up to your reputation milady, I wouldst say exceeds!"

Amai: Ahh... Starring at the sun is probably the reason why your eyes are damaged. *she seemed a bit sadden from hearing what Kawatta said* If you'd like I can take you to a place where you can get a nice meal and a warm bed to sleep in. You could stay for as long as youd like as well. And maybe I can see about getting you some glasses for yourself. *she smiled lightly.*

(Ahhh Ive gone crossed eyed before but it was a medical condition. Ive had 5 eye surgeries cause of it X'D 5th times the charm I suppose lol)

(Aye! I once had the problem of my eye closing and never wanting to open. I had to get that looked at xD I once also had a wasp sting my eye while I was bike riding. That was unpleasant. ;-: The doctor did a good job repairing it luckily xD) -Kohai

*Kawatta's eyes widened "Really? Staring at the sun can damage my eyes? Strange, I heard from a wandering guru that the sun is actually where all the worlds collective knowledge goes. (Yea it was something called strabismus of the right optic nerve meaning my optic nerve in my right eye was smaller than my left eye and it would pull my eye to the right, which would make me look cross eyed. but its all fixed now! ovo)

Lumen followed Amai to the edge of the water. He retrieved a small sifter for the water. He placed it into the water and plunged it into the dirt below. He lifted it up, letting the dirt slide through but keeping debris that was bigger than sand.

"This is what I live for. The chance meeting with good people. To chat with someone that will listen just as much as I. And somehow, in my efforts to get enough Water Stone for a ring, I happened across one of my favorite scholars. Truly remarkable."

(Nope, he hasn't. But he will xD)

Kawatta was looking through the glasses again when Amai spoke.

"So you know what it means and you still okay with it? Wow! My life is getting so much better!"

Kawatta had put the glasses on upside down again. He enjoyed being able to see more than 4 feet ahead of him.
As he looked around, he saw Amai speak and gesture for them to leave. Pulling off the glasses as he skipped next to her and held them out. A goofy yet overjoyed face ever present

"Okay dokay! Lets go! If you need anyone to carry you, just lemme know. I can conjure something up for you! I still owe ya twozies for what you haves dones!"

Amai smiled lightly "Is the ring for your significant other? Usually thats what rings are for" she sat next to him and watched him sift through the dirt. "Ah to be in love. Though Im far to busy for it, it sounds like another fun chapter in ones life." She laughed lightly "Im how others say married to my work. So until Im finished I dont think I'll find any room for things such as that. Though.." she looks at the water "Itd be nice to share with one who enjoy it as much as I did.." she smiled softly. She opened her book and wrote something down about the water source to pass time.

Amai smiled at the fuzzy shape of Kawatta approaching her to what she could only assume he was returning her glasses. Her assumption was correct. She carefully took the glasses from Kawatta and gave them a good cleaning then put them on. Her eyes blinked a few times to adjust. "Thank you for the offer Kawatta. But Im quite alright. Now let us be off out of this cave shall we?" She walked if front of him and looked back hoping he would follow. If not she didnt have a problem leading him by hand if she had to.

Amai thought about it "Hmmmz your way would be fast but im not sure where we would be. My way woupd be longer but at least the terrian would be familliar. Short and the unknown or long and the known.. well I live for new qnd exciting things so lets go your way!" She nodded confident with her decision. "You too are interesting. But its a good thing. " she smiled at Aludra no longer scared or intimidated by her.

Lumen nodded his head to Amai in confirmation of her last statement.

"Your assumption is correct. This is for my significant other. It is customary that I make one ring to celebrate my devotion to her, than to gain the blessing of my parents to bestow upon her hand the family signant ring. I have decided to outline the priceless gemstone writing with blue water stone."

Lumen's smile softened as he heard her speak of love. He too was like her once, always wondering but never sure of what love was like before he encountered it.

"Love is a fantastic experience. It always keeps you guessing. And just when you think it might settle down....It sends you an unexpected package....or for those who knew what they did....A VERY expected package."

Lumen chuckled at his own joke.

"I for the longest time thought I would never find somebody. But eventually, the right one came along. I too was so called, betrothed to my work. I was solemnly steadfast in my endeavors to succeed that I never actually saw myself getting married. But here I am."

The sand and water filtered through the net. A few clumps of rock were all that remained. Nodding his head he spoke again

"I am sure you will find a studious man who has enormous feelings for you. I find it hard to swallow that you would not be swept off your feet by true love. You have an amazing intellect and a friendly face to boot."

Kawatta spun around a few times to try and pinpoint where Amai went. His gaze ghosted around before he saw her and his eyes narrowed to make out her tail and hat. Hopping up and down, he started toward her direction.

"Okay Amai'Kaei! Lets get a move on! Don't wanna stay here and run into walls N' stuff! That would be gut bustin though Kyeheheheha!"

Amai laughed "Well I am still very young so theres still hope for me yet." She looked up from her book and pointed at a greenish sone in the sifter "Take that one out. It may look green in the water but once out it'll shine like the ocean." She said with a smile.

Amai thought for a moment and took his hand into hers "Dont want that to happen now do we?" She smiled and led Kawatta to the out side of the caves. "So kawatta where are you from?"

Amai nodded "Oh absolutely. I'll try to answer all your questions to the best of my ability." She walked looked back at Aludra with a smile.

Amai adjusted her glasses a bit "Mm I would think that size would play a big factor especially durring intimate stages of the relationship. But Ive never been in an intimate relationship or romantic one to be accurate. So im not exactlly sure." She answered it with out stuttering like most would if asked this question.
(Pfff Amai plz. She didnt even hesitate to answer the question cause shes thinking about it in a logical sense X'D not so much emotionally so she wasnt very phased by it.)

Kawatta felt Amai's hand grasp his. And he looked in her direction surprised.

"Ya sure ya don't want me washin mah hands first before ya touch em? Cause ah've gone awhile without findin any water.....I probs should bathe more.....I should listen to mah ol' master.....He used to tell me to: ' 'Get it together!' '.......I should get it together....Get'it together......Get'it together....."

Kawatta snapped out of his quote chanting to reply.

"Where did I come from?....Oh, well my mommy and daddy had me by accident or somethin' so they dumped me somewhere in the desert. Because they did not anyone to know I existed.....But my homeland is the vast expanse of Freia.....I was supposed to die out there I thinks...."

Amai smiled and stretched "Men for me are trivial for the time being to I doubt I'll get any information about that anytime soon. But sure I will let you know when it may occur." she pushed up her glasses "Hm? oh I'm from Afai. I'm it's current leader as of right now. Now that I think about it I probably shouldn't be gone for too long or they may send a search party out for me... "

Amai paused "Then perhaps water stones are what you want then. Perhaps you were thinking of the caves crystals. They're a dark blue than that of a water stone. Water stones resemble the ocean when out of the water but, these cave crystals resemble of the night sky. A darker blue if that's what you want anyways." Her ear flicked slightly "My apologies if I ramble on about these things I've been told I do tend to stretch a topic more than needed."

Amai shrugged it off "I-I'll give my hands the necessary cleaning after we get out of this cave. I worry more about your safety than that of my... problem to me being dirty." She sort of shudder at the germs on her hands but tried her best to ignore it. "When we get to where we are headed I'll make sure you get all the necessities that your unforgivable parents neglected." Tyrell's ears perk and he looks at her "Oh hey again, Foury... i'm just getting some water and rocks for someone... what're you doing in this cave?"

Amai looked up from her book and she smiled happily. Her tail wags as she see's its Tyrell "Oh hello Mr.Tyrell, I'm just researching the different fungi in this here cave. It's for a book."

Amai smiled "Well if I am being honest I do find you a bit odd. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't treat you any differently from anyone else I've met. And I'm quite odd myself so there's no harm in being weird in any manner." she then nodded to her previous statement "Though I was only appointed as leader because of my intellect and my magical ability. Sadly enough I'm not... much one to hold conversations with others. They usually get intimidated by my speech and wish to no longer speak with me. That's why I've stopped making any public appearances." She looked up at the mention of a rabbit friend "Oh! I also have a rabbit friend but his name eludes me at the moment.."

"He's a Koga so yes I believe he's full rabbit. though at the same time not? Hmm, evolution is a bit odd." She looked around at their surroundings. "Seems to be a bit ways from a village you can tell by the pathway in the grass. It seems to be walked on a lot, which means there's a lot of traveling in this direction."

"White or ones with holes. Got it!" She walked over to the caves natural river and squatted down next to it looking for the rocks. "The last time we spoke I was incredibly drowsy, though this time around I had a power nap so I feel much more energized than I usually do at this time of day." Amai was trying to make small talk with the rabbit man.

Tyrell does the same, taking out a jar and setting it so they can both put rocks in. "I could tell... i have a friend that sells herbs that wake people up, if you want some"

"Ah that'd be splendid! Though to be honest I should just get a normal night of sleep instead of working." She smiled lightly picking a few rocks out from the river and putting them into the jar. "So what have you been up to since last we spoke?"

"I see. And I can tell that your natural predatory instincts are intact which explains why you ask if you can eat others. At least you're polite about it though." Amai laughed slightly. "Now you ask me a question, we can do it this way as a sort of game until we reach the village or until we stop to rest."

"Just walking, visiting some villages, that kind of stuff... what about you?" He piles a fist-full of pebbles into his hand and dumps them into the jar.

"Attending meetings, passing out in random spots, and finding new plants to write about in my book, running away from the public" She laughed slightly and put some more rocks into the jar. "Is... is the world still, how did you say last time?.." she thought for a moment as she starred into the water "Still punching you in the gut?..."

"I do it the human way. If I did it the animal way I wouldn't get very clean." She pushes up her glasses "I suppose it's my turn now yes?" She thinks a moment "What type of shark are you? I reckon not a hammer head other wise your eyes would be farther apart."

Amai snickered "Do you mean the waste of other animals or food waste as in garbage? Either way no to both. I do however like the taste of treats that are meant for pure dogs, but that's partly because I am, well part dog." she laughed "Do you have any siblings? "

"Well, thats how female sharks are. Scientifically speaking, female sharks usually attack the male to see if he's strong enough or worthy of her in a sort of way. Like a mating ritual! Maybe you're just testing the male counter part you're interested in and they're just failing your test. " She smiles "That or when you show interest in another you're just hungry, try eating before talking to someone you're interested in."

"Ah for me, well I've never gone looking for a mate. I'm how people say married to my job at the moment. But! I suppose I would test to see whether or not he could at least stay awake when I talk. I usually put others to sleep if I talk for a long period of time." She didn't shy away from Aludra and her rather menacing expression, she knew that she wasn't a threat and thought nothing of it to be threatening. "But as for the animal way female dogs kind of well.. just let it happen. I rather not be like that so I stay away from the animalistic urges so to speak."

Lumen tilted his head for a second in thought. Pondering her statement about the stones. Had h mixed up the names? He must have, and it kind of embarrassed him. But Lumen did a good job of suppressing his embarrassment.

"Oh, my apologies, It seems I mixed the names up. The ones I am looking for Aqualia Stones. The ones that are dark blue in color, and glow a tad bit under certain circumstances."

Lumen snickered a bit to himself at Amai's comment about rambling. This was something Lumen often had to apologize for. But he for one, enjoyed long conversations.

"No no. Not at all. I enjoy long conversations. And I like to see how they birdwalk. I live for conversations. To me, conversation is one of the best past times a person could have."

Kawatta was glad but also surprised to hear she was not worried about his germs. Most people were immediately grossed out by his ragged appearance.

"Woah, thanks Amai'Kaei! Most people get a bit antsy around me, since I am not able and sometimes willing to bathe regularly. But I will bathe if wished! I am obedient, I just don't want to get lost again."

Kawatta snorted in a laugh that echoed a bit throughout the cave.

"Yeah.....I guess I was not part of the plan? Maybe I was butt ugleh? Somefin scared em off. Just too young to know what Kyehehe!.....But truly, thank you for your help.....It is greatly appreci- Apressiuted?....Aperati.....Well, you know! Thenkful!"

Smiling while he was led through the cavern, Kawatta was happy that he was going to get a reprieve from the outdoors.
He had been living that way for several years, and that can get a bit hard to deal with.

"Exit Exit......Ah yes yes! I can smell the fresh air! You're right!"
