Calder was in his house making soup as Myra played with her snake-scarf friend. It was raining quite hard outside, but it sounded peaceful from indoors.

Sonya held onto an umbrella she had. She looked up to the sky, wonder when the rain would stop. Her legs where getting a bit sore from walking. Spotting Calders house nearby. She walks over and knocks on the door "Hello?" She called out

Calder who was in deep thought as he was stirring the soup was startled at the sound of the knock. He called out to Myra, "Can you get the door, Myra?"
.
And she replied, "Okay!", as she happily got up and ran up to the door and opened it. Myra saw Sonya and let her in.

Sonya politely greeted Myra. She smiled and closed her umbrella. "Sorry for coming in so suddenly, I just needed a place to rest for a while. Maybe until the rain stops" she laughed and rubbed her head. She looked at Myra "Oh, my name is Sonya by the way"

Myra looked at Sonya and smiled, "I'm Myra! Nice to meet you!", she said with a smile. "Let me get you a warm blanket.", and she went off to get a blanket.

Meanwhile, Calder was still in the kitchen, making soup and just... thinking.

Sonya nodded, she smelled the soup from the kitchen. Being a little curious she peeks in. "Oh, hello!" She said

She scares the living soul out of Calder, he let out a scream as his jolted and the ladle he was holding flew out of his hand and clattered onto the floor, spilling some soup that was on it.
.
He was quiet for a moment and then looked at Sonya, a bit embarrassed, "O-Oh... H-Hey.", he said as he awkwardly smiled and rubbed the back of his neck.

Sonya flinched slightly "Oh, oops" she rubbed her arm going to pick up the ladle Calder dropped. "Sorry for scaring you there!" She laughed "Anyway, it's kinda been a while. How have you been?" She asked

"Um...I... I've been ok, I found Myra a few months ago and well, she kinda lives with me and we've been well. How about you?", he said, he seemed a little off, like he was sad or something.

Soon Myra came back with blanket for Sonya and waited for them to be done talking.

"Ah, I've been good. Spending my time at my shop and at home" Sonya seemed to noticed that Calder was a little off "You alright? You sound a little sad" she said to him

Calder looked at her and then looked away sadly. "I.... I dunno, That's just how I've been feeling lately...", he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Myra frowned as she saw how sad Calder looked. She scribbled something on a piece of paper and folded it up, then she hid it in the blanket. "Hey, Sonya, I got you a blanket.", she said as she offered the blanket to her.

"Oh" Sonya frowned slightly. She turned to Myra "Ah, thank you!" She said taking the blanket

"Anyway, The soup is almost done if you want some.", he said as he got out some bowls and spoons. As well as getting the ladle and washing it.

Myra sat at the table whispering to her snake scarf friend (don't got a name for him yet). She hoped Sonya would see the note in the blanket.

"Okay then, I'll go sit down" She said and walked to the table. She opened her blanket, causing the note to fall out. "Hm?" She picked it up.

When she opened it, the note said on the inside, "I think Calder is sad because he's lonely. I think he needs a girlfriend."

Myra was relieved she found the note, then she looked over at Calder who came over with a tray of three bowls of hot soup along with some cucumber slices for himself. He served everyone thier bowl and soon sat down at the table to eat.

As Sonya read the note her face went red. She quickly wrapped the blanket around her to cover her face slightly. She looked to Calder, her face getting slightly more red. As she was served with her soup she smiled "Uh, t-thanks" she said.

Myra chuckled to herself a bit as she saw Sonya's reaction. She too thanked Calder for the soup. Meanwhile he sat down and stirred his soup around. "What were you doing out in the rain?", he asked Sonya.

"Oh, nothing much" Sonya placed a hand on her cheek "I didn't really expect the rain to get bad"

"Me neither, I was gonna go hang out by the lake, but y'know. Weather is unpredictable and whatnot.", he said as he sipped some soup. He was looking down at his bowl.

"I think it got lighter so it should stop soon!", Myra said after she took a big gulp of her soup.

"Mhm, yeah" Sonya nodded, she was still blushing slightly. She took a small sip of her soup.

Soon the rain stopped as they enjoyed thier soup. Afterwards, Myra put on her rain boots and went to jump in the puddles in the backyard. Leaving Calder and Sonya alone together.

He cleaned up the dishes and saved some soup for later. He would occasionally glance at Sonya as he was doing the dishes.

Sonya looked to Calder "Um" she paused "Do you want some help?" She said smiling a bit.

"Uh, sure.", he said as he nodded. "I wash, you dry?"

(I'm getting pretty tired, but we can continue tomorrow if ya want. :3)

"Sure" Sonya nodded

He got her a clean towel to dry the dishes with as he began washing them.

Sonya smiled as she began to set some of the dishes. "Um..." She wanted to start up a conversation with him but didn't know what to say.

(Sorry I was doing stuff)

He kinda wanted to as well, but he didn't know what say either. So, they were left with this awkward silence. That was until he accidentally cut himself washing a knife and started bleeding quite a lot.

(That's oki!)

"O-oh no" Sonya grabbed a towel to put over his cut "You alright?"

"It r-really hurts...and i-it stings.. like a lot.", he said as he made a face that showed just how much pain he was in. He was squeezing his hand, trying to num the pain, but it made more blood come out.

"O-oh gee" Sonya put the towel on the cut, trying to stop the bleeding by putting pressure. Her face was filled with concern, something that most people barely see from her.

"I-I think I have a first aid kit... s-somewhere in my room. I think In the n-nightstand next to my bed.", he said in pain. "There should be something in there to... h-help the bleeding."

"Okay, I'll go um, get it" She nodded and went to go find the kit.

His room was really organized and it seemed cozy. The kit was exactly where he said it was and it had everything in it to help the bleeding.

Sonya grabbed the kit and went back to Calder "I got it" She said

"Th-Thank you.", he said. He let her hold his hand as she tended the wound.

As Sonya tended to the wound she looked at Calder "Are you gonna be okay?" She asked

"Y-Yeah. It'll just hurt for a bit.", he said."But... uh, thank you."

"You're welcome" Sonya put a hand on his shoulder and starting rubbing it gently. She seemed like she was going to say something but then stopped herself.

He looked at her hand on his shoulder and then looked back at her. "Are you okay? Something wrong?", he asked worryingly.

"O-oh" Sonya pause "U-um it's nothing r-really" she blushed slightly and turned away

"A-Are you sure? If something's up you can tell me.", he said. He seemed concerned.

"Well, uh" Sonya ran a hand through her hair "It's just that um..." She sighed "I can't really find words to put it with" she said.

"Take your time to gather your thoughts and then you can tell me what's wrong.", he said.

Sonya nodded "Yeah, okay"

"Would you like some tea?", he offered

"Sure" she smiled. "Might ease my mind a bit"

He nodded and went and made her some tea.

Sonya seemed to be thinking to herself. She started mumbling some things

Calder let her be alone as she thought to herself. He went to check on Myra who was playing outside.

Sonya covered her face, feeling herself blush. "Will I ever even mention it? Gee" she said to herself a bit loudly.

After a bit, he came back inside with Myra, who ran off to wash her hands from playing in the mud.

He saw Sonya covering her face and went to her. "Are you alright?... Are you crying?", he asked.

"Hm?" Sonya lowered her hands "Oh no, I'm fine" she said and smiled.

"Do you... need a hug?", he offered.

Sonya looked at Calder surprised "...Yeah"

Sonya smiled "I just, I feel a lot better with you" she whispered, it could barely be heard.

He heard her say "... better with you." He almost didn't know what to say. "You... You really mean that?", he asked as he blushed a bit more.

"Y-yeah" Sonya nodded "Sometimes my day is just really stressful you know? I um, I like being around you. You just seem so nice" she blushed as she said that.

He couldn't help but smile a bit. "I... ", he blushed, "... I like spending time with you too...". He rubbed the back of his neck. "Um...". .
The poor guy just couldn't find any words to say. He was flabbergasted and a bit shy.

Sonya smiled and laughed slightly. She did want to say a bit more, but she didn't really have enough courage to.

"Um... Would you... Would you want to uh... stay for dinner?",he asked awkwardly.

"Sure" Sonya nodded

(Sorry I was watching my bro play a game)

"Uh.. ok, um, what's your favorite food?", he asked.

Sonya thought for a moment "Hm... I don't really know"

"Oh, um...I'll just see what I can whip up.", he got up and looked in a cookbook to see what they could have for Dinner.

Myra came by and sat by Sonya. "Hello, Sonya!", she said happily.

Sonya smiled "Hello Myra"

(Ok I think I'm back now.)

"He seems happier.", Myra said as she gestured towards Calder.

(Aaa welcome back!)

Sonya nodded "mhm yeah" she said a bit awkwardly

He came over and showed Sonya a recipe. "Would this be good?", he asked.

Myra just watched and smiled.

Sonya smiled "This will be fine"

He nodded and went off to make the recipe.

Myra smiled at the two and also at herself for being so clever. "He really likes you, huh? You like him too, don't you?", Myra whispered.

Sonya paused, her face getting red again "Uh um... Well, I mean" She nodded slightly "I do actually.."

"Awww. Don't worry I won't tell.", she said as she pretends to zip her lip. "Your secret is safe with me!"

"Mhm" Sonya smiled "I don't really think I'm ready either"

"Ready for what? To tell him?", she asked.

She nodded "yeah"

"You could go on a date to get to know each other more. Then maybe he'll say he loves you!", Myra says quietly as she giggles.

"Oh, I never thought of that" Sonya said. "Maybe I'll try that"

"Oh... ok.", she didn't expect Sonya to agree. xD "You could ask him after dinner! Bet you 5 bucks he agrees to go.", Myra said giggling.

"Five bucks huh?" Sonya laughed "Sure"

"No, wait! 10! 10 bucks!", Myra smiled brightly as she sad that.

"10? Hm... okay then!" Sonya grinned

"Yes!", Myra said excitedly.

Soon Calder came over and served dinner to everyone, he got them drinks and anything they needed.

Sonya looked at Calder. She smiled a bit.

They began eating dinner and Myra kept smiling as she was thinking about the things she could buy with 10 bucks.

Sonya tapped her fingers on the table as she ate.

"Are you alright?", Calder asked as he noticed her fingers.

Sonya looked at Calder and nodded "Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just thinking about something" she said

"Oh...you must do a lot of thinking.", he awkwardly joked around. "I do too..", he added quietly

"That makes two of us then" Sonya laughed "So uh" she put a finger on her cheek "What do you think about going out sometime?" She asked Calder.

(I'm gonna be at a hotel with my family until Sunday so I won't be able to reply as much until then. I'll still reply tho.)

He blushed. "Um... Like hanging out? O-or... do you mean...like a-a date?", he seemed to be a little nervous.

(Okay!)

Sonya nodded "U-um like a date, yeah"

"O-Oh...", he blushed red,"I... um...Th-That would be... nice.", he said with a red face.

Myra smiled. She thought that sounded like a yes.

Sonya smiled "Yeah"

"Um.... yeah. W-we... we can do that.", he said with a red face and a small smile.

Myra smiled more.

"That's great then" Sonya glanced at Myra.

Myra gave Sonya a thumbs up.

"Wh-When?", he asked.

"Hm... Whatever time you feel comfortable with" Sonya said smiling.

"Tomorrow afternoon?", he asked as he looked at her.

(I'm back home yeeeee)

"W-We can meet here.", Calder smiled.

They continued to enjoy their dinner.

"Yeah" Sonya smiled

"Would you like me to walk you home?", he offered politely.

"Ah" Sonya rubbed her arm "Sure"

"Ok", He turned to Myra, "Stay here ok? I'll be back soon."

He then started to walked Sonya home. It was dark outside.
