(Here is how I think witches are going to exsist in this world. If it doesn't work out then I have an Idea on how to make her a demon). Sine in the HECA world the demons mostly hunt the humans it means that no human is going to make a pact with a demon for power because there is a garentee that they will be hunted for easy prey. So instead people found a way to get dark powers without a demon. It was threw these things called "Blobs". (More in Comments)

The Blobs keep living by collecting negitive thoughts that the after life has. But it also feeds on life forces if need be. Due to collecting negitive thoughts it has a weird fake copy of black magic. The bigger the Blob the better the magic. To make a pact with the Blobs you need to find one. The best times to find them is when someone is dying or a lot of negitive feelings. You then need to capture or befriend them. (They are really shy creatures) Then you get something to keep the power that they hold. Something that reminds the holder of negitive thoughts. Then you merge it with the blob and the item. There you have it, a pact!
