Whenever we wanted to take the bus someone would have to take us/pick us up from the vet clinic because our house is a half mile over the "border" of two districts. But now I can't even do that because we sold the clinic

Hey guys i wrote some more out-of-nowhere in-the-middle-of-a-story-arc-story featuring human Raven and my Torokami

The black waves lapped along the shore, trying to drag the canine's paws with them into the deep abyss of the dark ocean as they walked slowly along the shore, blank lavender gaze following closely to the fading teal orb that had dropped into the ocean like a stray tear. They took no notice of the dragons on the cliff, neither the large white serpentine beast nor the starry dragon coated in sparkling blood as it watched with glazed eyes the purple koi-like animal pad slowly over to the sudden mound on the shore, the dark flame in the fragile lantern quivering. The mass shuddered with sudden life and breath, a growl soon following. A beast-like growl with the croak of a raven's caw. A crow growled under the cloak, between the long curling strands of black hair with icy sea eyes. The canine crept ever closer, slowly and carefully touching a paw to its back until it pushed itself up and stared with both confusion and menace at everything around it. //A human,// the canine thought, //by some reason or another. Another experiment? Another.... Project?// A shiver went down their spine at the thought of it. //A Project is the least we need... Has this human noticed me? They will... I'll die...// The koi-patterned wolf protectively curling their tail around more so that the lantern was as secure as possible, being gently held in the bend of their soft tail. The human, a young woman, turned over to them, almost surprised. For a second her eyes seemed more blue but soon returned to the fierce green from before. She stood, then collapsed onto the sand, seemingly unknown to this new sensation. She stared at her hands, moving her fingers, and noticed a necklace that hung around her neck— a wooden carving of a wave, with a blue stone connecting into it. The girl stared at it for a while, then stood back up, this time not falling. She opened her mouth and spoke, slowly at first,
"What's even going on? Is this still where I was? The sky seems right again," her voice drifted as she looked up. The canine hesitated, long ears forward. They weren't supposed to understand. Humans couldn't speak the common language of animals. Sometimes animals couldn't speak it, some simply barked or growled. The canine took a step forward and did their best to respond:
"You simply appaeared. No rhyme and no reason. I have not the idea of where you might have so been," they spoke calmly, and the girl just nodded and noticed the building on the hill.
"What's that-a-way?" Her voice was gruff and growling, like half human and have canine. As if she wasn't used to it... Just like with her legs..
"The facility. I mustn't go close. They'll find me, and may my life be ended swiftly if they do. I don't wish to be one of theirs... Come," they barked suddenly, trotting along the shoreline. The girl followed uncertainly.
