how does on even dramatic shade? by HolyPandaz

See...that green dragon is off in the distance and has the sun/moon behind it. Now I'm trying to shade this legit with the aim of where the light is coming from but I'm not sure it looks ok. I've tested out difverent ways but I'm not satisfied with any of it. Hhhhhh. I'm stuck. Posting to show I'm alive. Live's been throwing shet at me so I haven't been active. I could keep doing the individual shading as seen here. I'm just unsure of how to achieve the look I want.

This is looking so awesome! I'd suggest shading the entire neck except for the side nearest to the lighting source, and then maybe a thin highlight borderif the opposite side. Does that make sense?
