Forgive me for not being able to think up much of a description here... I mostly wanted to make this version of the painting so I don't have to put a Mature filter because of blood/injuries. But I also think it really captures how Dazai feels on the inside... Trapped, away from everyone else, mostly by his own choice, because in his experience getting close to people only ends in loss and pain anyway, even though all he really wants is to be able to be loved and not hurt anymore. A lot of people view Dazai as comical, but in reality that's just a false front he puts on to hide the pain in his heart.
