They both hatched from the same egg, obviously in their dragon forms, not these ones. They are the tallest of all the Crystal Dragons and the oldest, yet appear in their late twenties/early thirties.

Dakota cares more about his people than Aaron does, he also takes pride in his strength. When things are calm and peaceful, he's usually found playing with the orphans of their kind and teaching them how to shift between forms and fight.

Aaron is more adventurous, he will often go off on his own, even more so when things are dangerous, adrenaline junkie almost. He does care about his kind, but cares more about adventure. In his free time, he's almost never seen, often exploring other Kingdom's or prohibited places.

Even though they're greatly different, they almost never fight with one another and together are nearly undefeatable. Especially when merged together in their true form.

Both brothers can add more crystals to their human forms to serve as armor or weapons. But usually look like what you see here.
