Village chief: You know the rules, everyone. And let's all just have fun!
It is a festival of bringing people together and love. To show that we are all of the same universe and that our differences are loved and welcome. Let's spread our laughter amongst all of us.
After the tournament, there will be a party to eat and drink as much as we want!
We have guests here as well, will they be able to survive without being covered in colors? *laughs* Well, let's start!

Cliff, who wore a white scarf in order to keep his favorite green one from getting stained, prepares himself for the onslaught of flying paint. "I guess this could be enjoyable."

Aideen: *laughs*well I did burn people with them

Reuben: I wonder if this stuff hurts if it gets in your eyes...

Zona: *coughs* I think a bit got in my mouth *laughs*

Hitoshi is stretching, getting ready, also wearing all white

"This aught to be fun," he said with a smile.

Mina: huh a festival involving getting pelleted by color powder this should be fun (there goes one of my good white shirts and pants) I'm pumped for this let's go!

Pac slides over to Xavier. "I'm living proof of that! Ol' Short Stuff over here has fired enough fireballs at me to make me a honey roasted Pac!"

Bhaltair walks to the group while fixing his white clothes
"I guess I'm ready?" He grabs a strand of his hair between his eyes and gives a defeated sigh "I guess I'm ready from top to bottom"

Xavier: *pats pac's back* then you're good.

Zona: wait we can set these on fire? Good to know if someone annoys me

Pats Pac's back... try saying that five times fast...) Pac raises an eyebrow. "...I wouldn't."

A loud voice boomed across the area, interrupting the chatter beginning to form around everyone.
"PARTICIPANTS GET YOUR PAINT READY. WE START NOW"

((You're all on the same team but you can also maneuver around in smaller groups to cover eachother and paint efficiently. This will be like a battle with the enemy team having strategies too so be prepared.

Zona: *Grabs Kahli in fear*

Isaac: it's starting!

Amora: Okay Duhui and Ailis let's do this

Pac grabs some paint, and goes to find a good ambush point.

Cliff grabs hold of paint and starts moving, making sure not to draw too much attention to himself. He noticed a group of people charging at one of his allies and used this opportunity to throw paint at them, hitting at least two people.

Kahli: *holds onto Zona* I won't let any them get to you, ok?

Xavier: well, wanna group up? Too late to run to isaac now.
@aideen @Pac

Aideen: *runs over to wear some rocks are* .....hate being sure....*sees hole*heh...hehe

Bhaltair: "why is everyone in battle formations? I thought this was a game" he grabs some powder without taking any cover and starts walking around to see if he cans find anyone

Pac nods to Xavier. "Alright, but we better make ourselves scarce, the enemy is closing in."

Aideen: truee

The enemy team beginning to charge forward split into two large groups going opposite ways to try to surround the group like a claw, Some villagers heading up some of the surrounding trees and bushes and some still going forward to face the group head on.

The group of villagers begin to throw paint at the ones coming near them first, aiming at anything that seemed white in their view.

Stray shots get thrown to Cliff while some aim intentionally at aideen, Bhaltair, and Pac

Seeing the movement of the royal army, the villagers begin to prepare

Villager 1: They're heading into our territory, ready your paint!

Villager 2: Love seeing these new guys join. I can't wait to see their strategy

Mina: *takes a deep breath* Alright time to rum- *gets hit in the back with some green paint* oho? trying to sneak up on a wolf-skin? I hope that doesn't make *throws paint* you so blue! good, grief people are already grouping up... (I should too) *notices Kahli* Hm? Hey Kahli it's Min-ah! *gets hit in the shoulder with red paint (great I'm going to look like a Christmas tree in the end) And Zona too? That's awesome!

Pac manages to jump out of the way, though just barely. He throws paint at the village who targeted him.

Xavier: Hopefully they don't see us hidden and ambush us. *grabbing onto aideen and pac's arms and starts running to move away from the clamp attack* We have to keep moving about and dodge what we can. We're only out if we're completely covered in paint, right?

Bhaltair ducks an incoming shot and turns to Isaac
"Heh... glad to hear" he says with a tone that indicates he didn't know what this game was about @isaac

Kahli: *gets a big blotch of red on her shirt as she looks to Mina* Cmon, red????? Im already so much red, why...? *Throws paint at the villager still coming after Mina and hides with zona behind a bush* Hey, Mina. Wow they're really getting to ya, huh?

Aideen:that's correct

Zona: *waves and smiled* Good to see you again Mina, same, it hit my hair in the exact same spot my hair turns red

Kahli: Alright. We've regrouped, let's get going now. Ready? Run! *as she runs she sees more villagers than before and tries to dodge more than throw paint*

Villagers begin to attack Kahli, Zona, and Mina as they're trying to move away but while they were regrouping the villagers were beginning to close in on them.

As Bhaltair and Isaac move, paint starts to rain down on them coming from the nearby trees. Paint hitting them every other time.

Villager: We can get these two down easily, keep aiming at them

Child villager: *Sees pac and the group and sneaks up on them* BOO *throws yellow paint on them and runs*

Some elderly villagers begin to plan on how to attack Cliff and Keith

Elderly man: I'll charge in there and be a distraction! Come at me you whipper snappers! *runs as fast as he can holding some blue paint while chuckling*

Elderly wife: Jeez, always doing things on his own *tries to catch up*

Bhaltair: "wha.. this isn't but like any rain.."
he backflips to dogs some shots and throws paint at the enemy's direction. He looks at the stains on his clothes "ow..."

Pac's eyes widen at the paint thrown on him. He yells after the child. "YEAH, YOU BETTER RUN!!!"

(Bonjour everyone! The villagers look up and see a ginger in an aircraft. She is flying at awesome speeds and aims the plane at the tournament with paint missiles* "Hey guys but I wanna win!" *She aims at Pac and Aideen and splatters them* "Sorry loves!"

Hitoshi immediately bolts for nearby trees.

"Best to get as much cover as possible. Must watch my back, though. I need a battle partner..." Hitoshi spoke to himself.
He waited as to not blow his cover too soon. Watching, he prepares to defend allies from opposing team members

Xavier: *pushes pac away as another was going to throw paint at him and gets hit by two bright blue shots* Cmon, Pac. Don't get so easily distracted. We can't let them get more paint on you! *throws red paint, hitting two people charging for them*

Pac's eyes widen again. He looks over himself. "Well... I'm not COMPLETELY covered yet..."

Isaac: *dodges a few but still has a considerate amount of paint on him* darn, *throws paint back at some villagers*

Mina: By this point, I'll be a Christmas tree in spring I mean I got green on my back but oh well. Ack! *dodges purple being pelted at her.* I almost look like Chrismas coming soon but I don't want to get hit again! So how about some blue instead *throws* (Why do I have so much blue?) Kahli I think we should have a plan! They are ganging up on me and Zona!

Shay since the game started has been hidden behind some logs with a handful of green dust in hand waiting and watching where his brother was to throw him or someone known "ugh is not so difficult to see someone from his height but the dust doesnt let me see well / he said to himself "
Akane in the meantime moved forward hiding from side to side trying to give the closest opponents

Aideen: xavier,put I've your should. I could hit the ones that's charging,just focus on finding a spot for us!

Amora: *starts explaining to her students how the game works and is getting attacked while helping* And that's about it *smiles* now I have to go deal with the people who threw paint at me while I was busy *charges in*

*Acen arrives late*"Sorry I just had to test this out before!"*in his hands he carries a tome with splat designs*"Behold the Splat Tome!"

* Quickly throws some dust to Amora, but seeing his mistake gets up quickly and greets * SORRY! A hello! My name is Shay and I'm sorry for that, but c-clear that if we can be team haha !!

Elderly man: I'm gonna getcha! * attempts to throw some purple and green paint on Cliff's scarf*

Some villagers start to spread out for everyone holding many colored powder

Villager: look I spot the enemy lets sneak up on them and get them while they're scared hiding!

(Xavier's dead now guys lets have a moment of silenc e ajfoerj)

Villagers begin to be more aggresive with their attacks now since most of the teams are beginning to be at least halfway covered in paint.

Most of the tree camping villagers get off of there and are ready to ambush the groups.

Mina, Zona, and Kahli are the most covered in paint and lead the villagers to where Hitoshi is. Will he help or not?
Aideen, Pac, and Xavier are making their way to where Shay and Amora are, where there are a group of kid villagers closing in on them to try to get them out.
Bhaltair and Isaac are still under attack from the tree villagers and are nearly surrounded. Cliff is the nearest unit to them.

(Sorry guys im trying to keep you all entertained xD)

Pebbles runs quickly through the town desperately trying not to get hit. "This is terrifying!" she cried as she looked around for a place to hide. She noticed Shay running out from behind some logs and was excited to see a familiar face. "Thank goodness! Shay! Over he-!" she tripped over a small stone and fell face first on the ground, wide open for an attack.

Acen immediately gets splatted with blue paint

Mina: Ah so now it's just "okay let's see if we can hit anyone..." Is that man okay (Xavier) it looks like a color bomb went off on him? What do you think Kahli? Ah! watch out! *gets hit in the chest with yellow paint* oh joy I got hit with yellow I'm almost a Christmas tree now I mean Green, Red now Yellow! Things can't get any weird, can it?

(Rip Xavier,at least he had a good exercise)

Aideen:*throwing powder at the kid villagers,hitting three*eh good enough.

Bhaltair rolls away from the shots and spots Acen
"What the hell is tha tome" he says to himself while shaking some paint off his hair

Amora: Ow,,, Are you alright? *picks pebbles up wiping some dirt off her*

Zona: N-not really??? Let me just focus and be more serious to think..
Isaac: agh! These guys are ruthless and persistent

Cliff dodge the purple paint, but the green one hit his scarf directly, nearly covering the front of it. Cliff began coughing from the paint. "Jeez! This old guy is really into this!" He threw a large red ball of paint at the old man in order to give himself a chance to escape.

The villagers see poor Pebbles fall to the ground and cover her entire back in paint with all the colors of the rainbow.

Elderly man: aw phooey, I can't catch up to him

Elderly wife: don't worry you did your best, now lets go paint those kids!

Reuben: *throws red paint at a villager*

Shay: uh?! pebbles?! what are?! Amora! watch it theres some kids over there! * He says while holding fists of dust and begins to throw them to their direction * @Pebbles @Amora

Xavier: Well, guys. Since I'm almost out I'll just cover you guys from whatever other paint rolls in. Just keep firing at them and finishing them off

Amora: *Looks at a poor back painted pebbles* Welp, you just saved my life??? I'll pay you back later-

More than half the villagers are out as the many times they attacked, they were counter attacked by the royal army.
Kahli: We may just win this yet, Zona. I'll climb a tree and cover you from up top, you and Mina can hide behind these bushes to get through. with all the powder in the air, They'll have a disadvantage if they come in on us.

Amora: people are saving me left and right.. *starts throwing some at the children too* These villagers sure know how to attack, probably lots of experience
@Shay and pebbles

Pebbles sobs face down on the ground as she's covered in paint. "Maybe if I just lie here, nobody else would notice." She stays down for a few more moments, then suddenly gets up. "No! If Vendetta were here, she'd tell me to never give up!" She picks up some paint and starts flinging it while yelling.

Mina: Right! *make her way to the bushes she spots a new person* oh hey you're new to me that is what I mean so what's your name? So I can remember. I'm Mina

Zona: I hope so! I'm almost completely covered *grabs Mina*
Villager: These guys sure know how to counter right back at us..

Villager2: let's try and be defensive as we can

Aideen:already on it.*throws 5 more powder,hitting 1 person in the face.*.....im gonna aim at the face now*throws some more.*

Akane meanwhile going though some villagers collides with Reuben and prepares a fist full of dust to attack him

Kahli: Hey. Long time no see. Kind of weird to meet up at a tree top huh. *she readies paint, looking around their area* Mina, Zona, prepare for at least three waves, coming in from every direction! Hurry and hit! *takes aim at villagers coming in from the front view of the tree, and takes down 5 of them with the help of Mina*

Xavier: I dont know but. *gives Aideen a piggy back ride* Here, keep shooting and I'll keep moving, let's go I see.... Shay! *starts to run faster as he heads to where shay and his group are*

Cliff manages to escape and finds a place where he can catch his breath. "I need to do a lot better if I want to stick around." He looks at the front of his scarf which is now colored green like his usual one. "Huh, what a coincidence."

Bhaltair gets hit on the shoulder by one of Acen's shots "oh... so that's what that tone is"

Zona: Thank Mina! I think it'll help if I get *eyes start changing* serious. I don't want to lose *dashes in and hits 3 villagers and a kid villager* I'm back! I hope a few people taken out can help *takes a deep breath*

Zona: I still have a lot of sky blue paint *shares with everyone*

Kath as he walks through the trees trying to find a close mate to attack another side, as she had ended up quite colorful in his attempt to counterattack alone

Dahui and Ailis: *starts walking towards the group* we got nuked out there haha!

Amora: oh goodness, good job kiddos i'll avenge you two *smiles*

Pebbles calms down and takes a deep breath. She looks around and notices that no one else is nearby. "Oh, man. I think I got a bit carried away. I hope I didn't hit anyone on my team." She keeps looking until she spots Shay again. "Shay!" She runs over to him. "You have no idea how happy I am to see a familiar face!"

Mina: I think so too Kahli you know it's actually kind of nice not having to worry someone is to ruin our fun and I get to do with close friends that are as well allies. It's nice don't you think? *throws some orange at a couple people*

Zona: Ooh it's kath *rushes in a grabs her* If I die you can take my place *jumps back on the tree* Sorry Kath it's just we're covered to boot already-

Now there being only 2/3 of the villagers compared to the royal army, the royal army has the advantage and the villagers are being more cautious hiding behind bushes or trees to finish off at least some of the army. Should the royal army be more aggressive or not? >w>

Hitoshi has paint on his upper right arm and his left hip from Pebbles' fury attack.

"Aw, crap." He merely says.

He joins up next to Cliff.

Aideen: hey at least we both got hit more that 30 times,and you should've put me down. I'm a fast smol fry.

Archer suddenly appears from behind a tree and runs past Pebbles

"Avast ye ruffians! Take PAINT." He bellows, appearing confident, but throws nothing.

(I'm drawing this to a close soon since it was supposed to be a 1 day rp, guys and just make the party tomorrow :'D So, don't worry if your character didnt participate in the splatfe *cough* i mean Holi, there will be another rp that'll be more tame and about socializing more than a competition)

Hitoshi hides behind a tree again but stays within talking distance with Cliff.
