Backstory: Part II
POV: Sebastian Kyran, 160 years (visually 8), 4'3, 78 lbs.
"Sebastian Asher Kyran, get your ass over here." I heard my mother yell aggressively. I wondered what I did wrong as I reluctantly headed over to the kitchen.
"Yes, mommy?" I said as I saw her with her hands on her hips. There was a fire in her indigo eyes, and blood had rushed to her face, making her bluish skin almost black. Just by standing near her, I could feel the rage radiating off of her. "What's wrong?"
Her voice boomed loudly. "What's WRONG!? Are you kidding me, Sebastian? Not only did you go outside during the day, but you also started playing with the witches at the park?!" She raised her hand and smacked me, leaving a deep mark on my face. I stared up at her without flinching, my lack of a reaction pissing her off even more. Like a child, she stomped her feet and then screamed at me again. "You KNOW you're not supposed to go outside during the day. Not only will your skin burn without sunscreen, but by the law, those stupid witches can kill you on sight! This is the third time that you've done this, this month!"
I furrowed my brow and looked up at her. "Mommy, there are no other kids for me to play with. I don't understand why I can't be friends with the witches. They're all so nice to me." I looked up at her, and she didn't answer, so I added on to that statement. "Also, the law says that vampires can be out during the day, but they cannot feed. I wouldn't ever hurt any human for food, anyway..."
My last sentence earned me another slap to the face. "That's it. Let's go."
"W-wait, go where?" Without answering, my mom grabbed onto my wrist and dragged me out the front door. Her large wings appeared and grew from her back, and with one flap, we both shot up into the sky. The sun was sitting on the horizon, with only a few streaks of orange light cutting through the scenery.
My mother swiftly flew me to the park, where the witch girls I was playing with earlier were. Now that it was dark, they were practicing small spells on frogs and mice, making them glow blues and greens.
We landed on the ground, and before I could go talk to the girls, my mom pulled me back by my hair. She lifted my ear to her mouth and whispered, "Sebastian, you're friends with the pink-haired girl, Emily, right~?"
When I made a worried expression, mommy shoved me to the ground and grinned evilly, "Thank you for telling me~ Let's get you some dinner." After her words bled into my ears, I started crying, and couldn't move because I was so shocked. My mom's power is to make humans unaware of what is happening, so when she grabbed Emily by the neck, no one noticed. I started shaking as my mom dragged my friend over to me.
Emily screamed and flailed, before making eye contact with me. She looked so frightened, and quietly mumbled, "Asher... Please help." She then passed out shortly after. My mom just grinned at me, waiting for my next move.
After hearing my only friend beg for my help, I worked up the courage to stand up. I glared up at my mom with cold purple eyes. "Let Emily go!!!" I shook with anger pulsing through my body, and tried to pry my friend from mom's arms.
My mom resisted, so I opened my mouth and dove down to bite her hand. At the last minute, my mom's hand moved out of the way. My cuspids dug into Emily's neck. I hadn't realized that I had bitten my friend, so my fangs ejected from the pouches in the roof of my mouth.
When my mom noticed that I had accidentally latched onto Emily's neck, she grabbed my head and forced my teeth all the way down into the witch's flesh. I heard a mean laugh, that was also filled with joy. "Ahahaha~ Sebastian, doesn't human blood taste so good~? She continued to force my head down until I had involuntarily killed my friend.

Once I was allowed to move my head away, I stared at the shriveled up corpse in front of me. My eyes were wide as tears streamed down my face. Hatred boiled up inside of me, but it wasn't aimed for my mom. It was just wild, indirect hatred. I narrowed my eyes and stopped crying.
My mom giggled, and picked me off the ground. "Let's go home, now. I have a special mission for you." I curled up in her arms as she flew us home. I didn't feel any comfort in her arms, though.
Once we arrived at the house, she gave me a blue button down shirt, dark green pants, and a black bow tie. "Look at how handsome you'll be in these clothes! You should take off your disgusting pajamas and put these on. We're going to go get you a belonging~!"
"Why did you make me kill her, mommy?" I asked, as I took the clothes. My tone of voice was very flat. I looked down at the floor, the hanger with the clothes in my one clawed hand.
"You're supposed to kill humans. Why do you think you have the power to open up a portal to a human realm?" She smiled. "Your father loved going there and picking up pretty, young girls, which is why I killed him~!" I felt her hand lightly touch my hair. "Sebastian, open the portal to the human world, and we'll find good prey for you to eat."
My skin crawled at my mother's touch, and I teleported us into a different world. It was daytime here, and everyone had such bland hair colors. Ranging from blonde to dark brown. Very few people had bright colors, and it was obvious that it wasn't natural. "Mommy, where should we go?"
She dug her claws into my scalp and took me to various places, where we spoke with the natives to this land. My mom made a few friends, and one of them was named Vanessa. She was pregnant, and very excitedly exclaimed that she was having a baby shower in a week.
My mom had found the perfect target.
