A sudden whack from a shotel hit a few small shrubs, scaring whatever animals were there. "What are you doing?" Ask Ouray who was sitting not to far away on the logs. Sunlight streamed through the trees and the forest was a little quiet thanks to the noise they caused. "Just, you know, doing something." Riptide shrugged, still cutting the brush around the old campsite. Ouray stretched, and walked over to what looked like a large sink hole. "I wonder how this happened..." He said pointing his cane at the depression of earth. "What's what?" Riptide asked quickly sprinting over, but he was silent for a bit when he saw the it for he already knew the answer.

After selecting a suit for himself and following Giranja to the place she had left her dress, Coldfire finally had the chance to clean himself up at the little house. //It's been way too long since I last showered,// he realized as he pulled on the new outfit. The shifter paused to inspect himself in the mirror. He felt - and looked, in his opinion - stiff in the attire. He was obliged to wear such clothes every day back in Teltundra, which only added to his hatred for the lifestyle. With a sigh, he exited the restroom and searched for a sign if Giranja in the house.

Thuun was gliding effortlessly over the Sylyore forest, humming casually to himself, until he spotted a large sink hole down below, the dark pit obvious against the brown foilage below the trees. "Woah, what happened here?" he exclaimed, hovering above the pit. He had yet to notice the two humans there.

Riptide spoke to Ouray unaware of the wyvern flying above. Ouray took his stick and whack Riptide, "OW, why'd you do that!?!" He just stood there and gestured Riptide to look up.

Coldfire strolled into the living room, then stopped dead when he spotted Giranja. //Wow,// he thought for the second time. His amethyst eyes took in the shiftress's gown slowly, still dazzled by the way it complimented her. The Tundra shifter soon realized his jaw was hanging open and he snapped it up hurriedly and swallowed before attempting to form words. "Uhhh..."

Thuun's purple eyes flickered over to the voice below and soon spotted the two strangers. "Hello there!" he greeted as he winged his way downwards and alighted beside the pit. "What happened here?" His snout wrinkled. "Smells like dead flesh, yuck."

(Thank you! I gotta leave again in a bit though. :P)

"I think someone killed something buried it and dug it back up, the smell is foul I must say." Ouray smiled brightly at the new dragon that appeared. "If I must asked, who are you and what is your name Sir?" Riptide scowled a bit and was about protest but Ouray whacked him again causing him to bite back in pain. //Who knew that being smacked by a old guy would hurt so much?//

Coldfire's face flushed at her compliment. "Thank you, uh... And you look... stunning." After a pause, he cleared his throat and ran his hand through his hair. //Crap! I forgot to groom my hair!// he realized too late.
"Shall we go outside?" he queried, eyes flickering to Giranja's.

"I see. Who would ever do that?" Thuun pondered aloud, tongue sticking out in disgust. He returned to a more proper poise at Riptide's question. "I apologize for not introducing myself sooner! I am Thuunawein Shousin, but you are welcome to call me Thuun. And may I ask, who might you two be?" he asked, smiling charmingly as he gazed down at the strangers.

Riptide at first thought was, that if they went up into the air he'd be able to dump the old man sooner and get his answers but his thoughts were shattered when he heard Ouray's reply.

Coldfire reddened further with the title Giranja gave him, but despite his embarrassment, he couldn't help but play along. "That it is, young mistress." After a moment if hesitation, he offered an arm to her. "Will you walk with me?"

With a failed attempt to hide the smile on his face, Coldfire led Giranja out of the SunFury kingdom and toward the lake. Before long, they could see the rippling water as the moonlight danced over it. The Tundra prince breathed in the refreshing air once he stepped onto the sand.

Coldfire did the same as Giranja, turning his gaze to the stars that he used to watch for hours on end. His brother was gone, but now the young prince discovered that he was no longer alone, and he had somebody to look after and stand beside.

He watched Giranja from the corner of his eye, searching for something to say, but he could never find it. Instead, taking her hand, he shifted until he was standing in front of her. "Giranja."

The shifter lost a fraction of his breath when Giranja smiled. He allowed a small smile to flicker over his own features before he grew serious and held her gaze. "I... I know I'm not the greatest person out there. I have said and done cruel things to you, and I can't even hold both your hands now, but..." He squeezed her hand, a sincere look on his face. "I want to do my best to make you smile. Giranja, may I have this dance?"

Even though her reply was anticipated, his heart fluttered when she responded. He gave a nod and breathed in.
Long buried rituals resurrecting in his mind, Coldfire stepped close to Giranja and led her into a gentle, simple dance. Their feet scuffed up the shore's sand as they stepped side to side, rocking to the rhythm of the wind in the leaves and the singing of the waves.

Meanwhile, Coldfire was having a difficult time figuring out where to put his eyes. The Zilariun's dress was stunning - the way its fabric glittered in the moon's rays enchanted him, and it outlined her pure, elegant form so perfectly. However, when his amethyst eyes met her own royal gaze, he found he couldn't pull away. There was something about this shiftress that captured his heart and made it throb helplessly. //Why... Do I feel this way when I look at her? What is so special about her?//

As if it were possible, Coldfire's heart rate quickened further when Giranja rested her head against him. He gave a silent yet futile prayer that she wouldn't feel his hammering chest while he slowed the pace of the dance to a subtle rocking back and forth on their feet. The faintest of breezes ruffled the shifter's dark hair as he rested his chin ever so lightly on her head. "You're welcome."

"You haven't interrupted us at all Sir! You are very kind though, thank you for offer!" Ouray smiled again he nudged Riptide as to remind him of his manners. Riptide grumbled, shifting his feet a bit. "Yes, it was nice meeting you...." Though he gave some strange looks, Riptide didn't know why but he had felt he'd seen this dragon before.

Riptide's eyes widened a bit and Ouray stopped and turned to him. "Uh... yes... What of her?" Riptide asked stepping forward being careful not to fall into the pit.

Her mother's body was buried here, though I don't know why it was dug up." Riptide was rather nonchalant about what he said, Ouray just shrugged at their conversation.

"It's not a problem if you need us to come." Ouray nudged Riptide a bit. "Besides, I'm sure he won't mind all that much."

Coldfire chuckled, then trailed off. He realized then that their movements had stopped and they were now standing still on the sand. In the silence, the shifter studied Giranja's face as he debated with himself. "Septus," he finally blurted. "I-I mean, my name. Coldfire is more or less a title of status, but... Septus is my true name."

Literally everything that happens in faf is also canon to my own storyline, like how sterven disappeared and then sorta came back as a human some time later (though no one actually knows) and haruka and aylin missing are true, and daddy ribbons assumes that the fox rei is taking care of everything but he's actually pulling a coldy and is being a miserable ball of depression. Rohn did disappear for a while and is gonna be mad when he comes home too, plus he has news he wants to tell poor sterven :P i could go on about faf affects vriodura xD
And vriodura is basically a fantisised earth, since there are people and technology but the realm/continent/island-ish thing/whatever is mostly untouched by man, save the traveler's village and the facility.

A thin gray canine was straggling up the fence, collapsing and immediately getting up and taking off as the hooded figure ran by, cape hitting her back like a whip almost intentionally. The cloaked rabbit shouted as she chased after the gray dog, leaving the brown canine-like cat stuck in the fence, tears rolling down her face and soaking into the old broken wood.
"Jason... It had to be him!" She cried, tearing her muzzle from the fence, ignoring the sting of the splinters spilling her blood onto the gravel path. Her eyes turned challengingly to the house and heard the laughter of the two evil demons inside. "How dare you! How dare you send someone to kill him!" She shouted at the two inside, knowing they wouldn't hear her. She couldn't run after them; her leg would give way. Some time to have a near-broken leg! Right when she needed it most... The spotted feline limped back to her own home, back to the stars as she sauntered away, growling to herself. Footsteps sounded behind her and a familiar voice called. -->

"Jackie! Where are you going? What happened?" Aisford, the tall red-violet canine, had run up behind her. Jackie snarled viciously and turned around.
"It's none of your business!" She snapped, hackles raised and tail trashing against the ground. Before the canine could continue she whipped back and sprinted home, stumbling a foot away from her door and scrambling inside, tears and blood covering her face.
"Jackie, there you are! What's wrong? What happened? Are you alright?" Another cat, a darker brown with many spots dotting his back, started to ask her anxiously. She just turned away from him and fell to the ground on a thin gray rug a foot from the door, sobbing. The dark brown cat sighed and sat beside her, staring with great concern at his sister. Jackie shuffled away from him for a while, sitting there until late into the night. She turned back to the other cat, eyes glistening in the faint moonlight beaming down from the dirty window.
"He's dead," she whispered, ears back. The dark brown feline just tilted his head, eyes wide. -->

"How do you know?" He asked gently, placing his paw on hers.
"I just /know/," Jackie insisted, shaking her head. "I just know..." She stood up and paced the perimeters of the small house, not making a sound as she mindlessly bumped the short table, walking aimlessly in circles. The wooden floor creaked under her feet as if it would give way as she continued around her motionless brother. Jackie stopped for a second, twitching her tail.
"Where are mom and dad?" Her voice sounded distant and faint.
"They went out to find some new flowers," he replied, glancing over to the withered stems and pathetic, dry petals sitting dead in the speckled flowerpot. 'It's just unique! So what if it wasn't made perfectly?' Their mom had said, sifting through one of the houses too beat-up to live in in the village.
Jackie nodded and kept pacing, ears flicking at the slightest sounds. Dawn broke after what seemed like years, the sky a light, pastel pink as the mountains hid the sun, sheltering the village from the brightest light. The feline sat by the door and sighed, waiting.

I think you should just do it, Spec. XD For me, unless it is supposed to impact the character greatly, then scars or losses aren't necessary. Coldfire relied a lot on his left arm, so now he has to figure out how to defend himself and others without the help of magic and not crumple into a miserable ball of depression. That's just me tho
