His soul is finally at peace... I love you, Daddy... <3 ^-^ I'll always cherish the memories we had. I'll take special care of my siblings and put your wisdom to good use. Thank you for teaching me the importance of maintaining joy in all situations, the necessity that is a smile. I know that love conquers death, and your love for others, especially throughout your years of pain, is an excellent example. May you dwell happily in the kingdom of God forever.

Thank you, everyone. ^-^ You're kindness helped a lot. Though I now understand why, to an extent, that God willed the best way for him to heal after 14 long years of nonstop, terminal pain. And I still know he is by my side even now, until we meet again. ^o^ I may be crying frequently now, but I will gather my bearings, remember his love for me, and the tears will subside.

Thank you all! ^-^ @Monomo Yep, death is indeed a fact of life. Though I feel that it was absolute perfect timing, when he had suffered so much, and I was finally able to bear his no longer being physically present in my life when the time came. Yet that of course doesn't mean it's not still difficult, especially since I'm still a kid, but I'll learn as time progresses. Nonetheless, this is a big step forward for me. Further emphasizing on what a jewel life is and never to take things for granted, nor waste time squabbling over trivial matters.

Aww... -hugs- Thank you, Ceta. ^-^ I know all of his weight has been lifted. And as for my family and I, some of our daily burdens have been elevated in a sense as well; there's no longer a need to be anxious at the fact that we could lose him any second, and the majority of money my immediate family makes (namely my mom)will not have to go towards medical expenses now, thus allowing us to cover basic needs more efficiently. Truly a sign that God wills things when and where He does for good reason, keeping all of His creation in mind.

I hope he finds the peace he deserves in God's eternal garden, my thoughts are with you and I wish you the best in these times to come, I'm here if you need someone to talk to or sympathize with.

I lost my Dad last year, I know the pain very well, to have to say goodbye for now. But I live with what he'd taught me, though they were painful lessons, I hold my memories of him in my heart and I live on knowing one day I will see him again when my time comes. I hope you can find solace in these difficult times <3

@Blood Thank you so much. < : ) I'm glad I'm not alone in having lost my dad recently, but of course I sympathize (and now empathize) with you. Prayers and peace. ^-^
@monkfishlover Thankies... <3
@Ceta Oh, but it certainly does hurt. :3 I'm constantly swinging between periods of grief, acceptance, and areas in between. While I know the pain and sorrow will become easier to bear over time, I am aware that I'll never ever get over it 100 percent in this life. And grieving is important: it shows how you loved that person.But I know my daddy also wouldn't want me to be sad. ^-^ I can be happy for him and continue to live up to his expectations: to maintain joy, care for family, friends, and others alike, get a good education, and just live my life.

おはいよ、すてきなひと!! ^0^ おげんき です か?
Sorry, testing the Japanese online keyboard. XD This is how people in Japan get kana and kanji to pop up in place of romanized letters.
Translation for the phrase above: "Good morning (it's early in the morning in Japan right now), lovely people! How are you?"

Re: That sounds pretty tough Whaley, but I'm so glad you're approaching this in a Godly, forgiving way. If anybody, God can give them peace and rest, so don't stop praying! I'll be praying for you and your family too. x)

I have been very well! My faith has taken a shift toward the better after I started attending this Worldview Analysis class. Basically, we examine big beliefs like Secularism, Postmodernism, and Marxism; figure out how and where they influence society and our beliefs; and learn how to discern them to protect ourselves from their damaging effects. The class is an eye-opener, and my teacher has been an encouragement concerning our relationships with God and our missions of rescuig the lost.
Overall, it's been very healthy for me. x)

FadingGlory

23 Nov, 2017, 11:42 pm

Yeah, I agree. Secularists claim to be free of religion, but they act religious in the way they cling to and defend their beliefs.
I've never heard about these false Christian denominations you speak of. It's sad that people will call themselves Christians, yet they follow unnatural beliefs and rituals. Another reason why it's important to be able to distinguish between right and wrong.
