5 year old Catch is just too cute!! :D

If a Dreamer is a hybrid, there first alternate form will instinctively be what ever they're non Dreamer parent is. They will also favor this form over any other.
Half Bloods usually inherit some of the abilities of there non Dreamer parent, this can be a good and bad thing, they will inherit new abilities but there Dreamer part can end up becoming diluted depending on the other half.

For example, say a
Dreamer cross with a phoenix that specializes in recovering, then there Offspring will inherit a stoner/faster recovering time then both parents.
Now say if a Dreamer crossed with a human with no abilities, there Offspring would lack in abilities that a Dreamer should have, but they have abilities there Human parent does not.

A Dreamer alternate form can vary in appearance, and Style but they always have something that give them away that they are Dreamers, and
that could be anything from dreamer signature bright colors, or having and marking, pearls,
ribbons, Cloud hair, Dreamer wings. How much the alternate form resemble the dreamer true form depends on the individual,
for example Catch greatly resembles his true form, ever one of his forms has pearls/figment stones on his four arms, the one on his forehead and tail very depending what form he in. He also has Dreamer markings in all his forms including his Human one ( but some Dreamer do not have marking )

His koi fish, bird and wolf has ribbons when his other do not.

His bird, Dragon, wing lion and ferret have Cloud fluff.

His wolf and snake are the only one that has Dreamer wings.

All of Catch forms have horns, this is more of a Vaseterm thing but Dreamer can have them to, it just very rare.

The tassels and armbands (Human form) are from his Vaseterm Blood, a long with horns and every form.

Bonus lore on young Catch:

Like all fawns Catch could shift to many forms, he shift to creatures seen around in the Gardens of his home City, Birds, ferrets, snakes koi fish Etc...
He also like to shift from creatures and species he see in books or other shapeshifter in City, this is were he picked up on his Dragon, wolf, Griffin ( he most likely at least try a Griffin out because of Eira but holding her hand in a human form out did the Griffin form x'D)

A little fun lore about the forms in the picture.

The wolf/dog Catch seen other shapeshifter with a wolf form and thought He looked really cool, so he tried it out and really like it for a while, his sense of smell was better in this form, but he didn't like messing with the fleas

The bird only did for a short time, and never was able to fly just fluttered about, he drop this form after he broke his arm and started to have nightmares about falling.

ferret are a local creature that Catch seen in the Gardens and Parks of this home City. He would use this form to climb trees and squeeze into small places.

The Dragon, Catch like the story in his favorite book about them, he also seen shapeshifter in the City, this was one of his favorite but the older he got he had to make a decision, because he was told he would only have one other form.

Catch found a Snake one time and scared Purity, he thought that was funny so he would shift to this form to be mysterious to the girls and others, but having no limbs and moving on your stomach was annoying.

either water walking or swimming, Catch love Water he was often playing by the ponds as a kid, many of the ponds have fish in them including koi, Catch enjoyed swimming around as a fish but he was constricted in staying in water....and Eira hates fish...

The wing lion, Catch father has this form and was the second pick for the Dreamer because it was more natural for him to shift to (for more then one reason).
he also would go back and forth between a Griffin ( just picture him with a beak) but the fear of flying and the desire to hold a certain girl hand in the end out weighed this form for the red hair Dreamer.

the most natural of the form for Catch to shift to was the Human form, both his parents have this form.
even though his silver blood was dormant he Had a desire to stay close to his crush, thought he could have done this in his lion or Griffin form there was something he wanted to do that he couldn't in those forms and that was hold Eira hand, so in the end Catch stay in this form them most and it become his only alternate form.
he just had to get use to walking on 2 legs instead 4.

Lol, had Catch kept the bird form, he could've shifted to it and angrily pecked at & flogged anyone who messes with Eira.
