Yesterday turned out much better than I expected. Although I am sad about Penelope's death, a new door in my life opened, and it's already time for me to move on.
When we went out for sushi for my birthday, my dad called and told me to go outside the restaurant. When I went outside, he rolled down his window and handed me a box from PetCo.
I looked inside and found a tiny red and white guinea pig.
Welcome to the family, Miso.
I would have made an update yesterday, but I was too tired.

ahhhh
I read what happened to your other guineapig I wished I could have read it earlier
It was really touching and surprising considering that I never had a guineapig as a pet
