Once a month, members of the Circle come together to discuss the situation and needs of their clans. They take the actions necessary, whether it's sending some Metallics to build new structures or carve out new caves, or having Chemists study the items the Comets "acquire" out in space, and then they return home.

Another duty the Circle undertakes is guiding the Defenders, Vunreks chosen to hunt the Savages and guard the clans. The Circle will pin down the general location of Savages, and then send out the Defenders to do their work.

Members of the Circle are usually chosen by birth, as in the present clan leader will choose one of his or her offspring to become the next leader. However, one important requirement must be met before the heir takes charge: the Vunrek must have a family. If they cannot watch over their own family, how will they guide a clan? If a Circle member dies and has no offspring, the clan will choose a new leader.

The Circle has one final task that the common Vunreks do not know, they are the guardians of a particular secret. A secret so dark and deadly, it would likely throw all of the clans into chaos and revolt.

A Circle long ago once tried to destroy this secret, resulting in the deaths of all the leaders except the Blinding Variant--Ki'Agaran's ancestor--, who went mad with terror and became a Savage years later.

All I know is that'd I'd like a Blinding variant that isn't as bright as Ki'Agaran but not not super pink either. I don't really know what other markings a Vunrek would have : /
