We all at some point in our lives will lose someone we love, it hurts more than words can describe, especially when that person was a parent. Good or bad, you only get one of each, over a year ago I lost my Father to a drug addiction.
So my message to everyone reading this, is tell the person you love, Mother, Father, Siblings, whoever it may be, that you love them, tell them how you feel, because there'll come a day when you can't.
Do it while they're still here, tell the ones who mean something to you what's on your mind or just that you love them. Because it's worse when they're gone and you'll never be able to, when all you have left is their picture.
I'm not saying do it everyday, but at least do it once, before it's too late. I wish I could talk to my Dad again, tell him how I feel, how I miss him some days, tell him what's on my mind.

I haven't lost a parent yet, so I don't know what that pain is like, but I know it's bad. :/ I know it's coming someday, though...
This painting is gorgeous though, Blood, I love the scales, the lightning effect, and especially Soryn's mane ;w;

^ Same here, and I think I'm going to take it really really //really// hard when it does happen.. I honestly hope I die before it happens. (I'd never tell them that, but that's how I feel. I...hope my whole family outlives me)
I'm really sorry for your loss. blood. I can't imagine how horrible that is... I hope your dad's at peace now.
