Okay then! Well, the last roleplay I had kawatta in, he was in Afai! So we will be in Afai for this one! Ima get started on the opening! :D

Kawatta tippy-toed his way on top of a few river rocks to avoid the chance of getting caught in its currents of the beautiful blue river bustling its way down the hillside. The animals and insects of the forest were abuzz. Mid day was in full swing, so the activity in the vast Afai forest was at an all time high for the day. The occasional murmur of leaves in a tree or bush was the movements of a small squirrel or rabbit scavenging for an afternoon meal. Kawatta earlier in the day tried catching a rabbit. But to no avail as it scurried away out of sight of the unusual foreigner. As he tip-toed his way across the river, he started talking to himelf. Normally this would be weird, but for Kawatta, this was very normal.

"So Sou? Do you have any stupid advice you wanna give me today? Like don't eat strange mushrooms? Or don't bathe in swampland?... Something like that?.."

Kawatta turned his head and changed his facial expression to one of less mental instability and spoke.

"Well Kawatta, those are all good things to mention.... But as it were, we are not near any of those. So it is not even relevant to the current situation. I would have told you not to cross the river in such a rash manner. But you would have just ignored me anyway, so why bother?"

Kawatta skipped along the jutting river rocks as he continued to speak. changing to a goofy facial expression.

"Awwwww! Come on Sou! That's the whole point! You say something smart, I do something stupid! Remember?"

Kawwata might realise a feeling of being watched as he crosses the river. and as he looks to see where the feeling is coming from, he sees a man wearing fake but nearly real looking horns placed on his head, the horns seem to be some sort of white wood with golden engravings on it.
The man starts up a fire, while staring at Kaw in a way that would make most uneasy.
He takes out a bit of meat from a pouch tied to his side, skewers it, and sets it to cook over the fire.

Oddly enough, the fire the man makes with a sign from his fingers seems to be blood red.

Kawatta was still in a heated debate with himself when he stopped to find where the prying eyes were coming from. He knew the feeling. He was often attracted strange individuals. As a result of him being a strange individual. Once he saw where the feeling was coming from, he went directly for them. He liked meeting new people, and the sense of eeriness attracted him. Since he was raised by a person that by most peoples standards, would be considered creepy or scary. So quickly went their direction.

"Hey look Sou! A stranger! Lets go talk to him! And see if he'll give us a bite to eat! I haven't had any meals for two whole days!"

Kawatta tilted his head and spoke as he skipped off the last river rock and onto grassy ground.

"Once again, with the freeloading. Do you know how embarrassing it is for me to say I am you? It takes a toll on me. really it does."

Kawatta laughed as he walked toward the stranger, inspecting the strange horns on their head.

"Look'it those thingies! He looks like some kinda Desert spirit!"

Kawatta shook his head back and forth slowly.

"Obviously not, those are fake. And why in Destria's name would there be a desert spirit in the forest hm?"

"Why I dunno! Maybe he likes travelin' too! And those aren't fake! I know the genuine article when ah see it!"

"No they aren't!"

"Yeah they are! They are real! even a blind man could tell their real!"

"Kawatta that is extremely insensitive! Take that back right now!....As it were, your pretty blind yourself."

"No I'm not!"
Kawatta would now be in the proximity of the stranger. Still arguing with himself.

"you take sibling rivalry to a whole new level, don't you?" the man says in a cold yet regal tone of voice. "I've never been called a desert spirit before, but i'm not sure if i should find that flattering from an individual such as yourself."

Kawatta tilted his head as he heard the stranger speak. He smiled at the words spoken. He often got this kind of treatment. Being a homeless peasant vagabond necromancer. He non chalantly sat down near the fire the man made.

"Yup! Probably do! Seeing as I don't have a sibling, I had to make my own! And what is a sibling relationship without a bit of banter yeah?"

Kawatta change his facial features to a serious one.

"Kawatta, you do know this man is being derogatory to you right?"

Kawatta smiled bubbly as he started to open his dead box.

"Yeah yeah! What else is new? Not like that doesn't happen everyday back home. Kinda part of my life now."

"Oh trust me, if i wanted to be derogitory, i would not be making small talk." the man says as he prauds the fire to keep the flames up.
The fire smells like burnt garlic.

Kawattta looked through his box of dead things as he heard the stranger talk. Pushing aside mummified fingers or eyes, searching for a particular one he wanted to chat with later.

"Well, I would normally I would chat with you about that, but I have no clue what small talk is. So i'll take your word for it!"

Kawatta changed his facial expression once again to the more serious and adult one.

"Small talk is when two or more individual speak of-"

Kawatta yelled obnoxiously at himself.

"Quiet Quiet! I'm tired of your malarkey! I'll take over the conversation thank you very much Sou!"

Kawatta cleared his throat as he spoke to the stranger directly. The smell of burnt garlic on his mind.

"So?.....You burning garlic to keep the unlucky ghouls away? I hear these pale skinned guys with capes hate the stuff. Makes sense in a way. Any normal person would stay clear of that stuff. Makes you smell kinda weired ya know?!"

"It is only my magic... most think it smells of garlic or some other supernatural cleansing herbs... like sage... it depends on the person i suppose."

Kawatta itched his head violently. Making an awful scratching noise that sent dirt and other things trapped in his hair fly off.

"I see....So I'm not the only weirdo out here! Gods am I glad to hear that! I thought I was the only creep in this forest. Guess not!"

Kawatta smiled comfortably as he finished his sentence.

(Oh my gosh, I just looked back at my grammar flub. Dang xD)

"And why are you out here?"

even if it's non-canon, they should meet xD)

Kawatta itched his ear as he thought about the strangers question with great prudence.

"Hmmmmmm...... Well, I guess I was just tired of sand. Where I come from, sand is everywhere. But I also hunt for the remains of dead people. So I can reanimate them and have some friendly conversation. I get lonely on the road, and since I have no home.... I just wander around and eat other peoples food and drink. I mean honestly, who could turn down the weary face of a homeless sixteen year old ya know?"

(Yup! probably xD I just read Majikino's description! I'm sure they would get along swimmingly :D And that would be fun to do actually! ^0^)

"If you're 16... you could get a job, maybe work as a grave-worker...."

(it would be fun xD)

Kawatta's head shot up inconceivably fast, making slight cracking noises as it did so.

"R-really!? That's a job!? Damn! Why the hell did you not tell me about that Sou?"

Kawatta twitched his eye as he spoke in a more independent tone.

"Because I only know what you know. So how could I tell you Kawatta?"

Kawatta lowered his head in defeat.

"Oh yeah... Your right....ANYWAY! If I got that job, I would dig up all the graves and take their pinkie fingers! So that I could talk to them for a bit and see what their lives were like! hear what secrets they have to speak!"

"i know a way to speak to those who have passed on without needing to come in contact with them..."

(I did speak to @Kohai about the mechanics of necromancy. And it requires a piece of the person your trying to call up)

Kawatta looked at the stranger confused. He had not heard prior inklings of such before.

"Oh?....."

(Oh fiddle sticks! I have to depart soon! So once I post one or two more posts I gotta go. D:)

Kawatta pulled a tiny empty bottle out of his very small and weathered rucksack. uncorking it as he spoke.

"I see! Looks like i'll have to either grow up faster.....Call up someone like you from the ground......Or stalk your whereabouts until I'm the right age.......I'm really leaning toward the latter option....Sounds exciting...Kyehehe!"

(Oh okay! Hoowee! I'm glad I didn't upset ya xD And its cool, no need to say sorry :D My internet is like that too sometimes ^0^)

"litsen, chuckles.... you don't want to follow me, I tend to keep spirits away, and you seem to like spirits."

Kawattta jumped up and down wildly. His tattered robes sending dirt everywhere.

"I do! I do! Very much its true!..... And it has probably been more of a problem than a boon, BUT! They keep me company in this lonely world we live in!"

Kawatta stopped jumping and stared at the sun. Unblinking as he continued the conversation.

"A word of advice fellow weirdo! If you wanna keep the spookies away, stop using magic! Magic is just an extension of our minds and souls. It is only possible if you harness your own spiritual potential! So thus, when you use something spiritual..... It tends to attract other things that are spiritual!....."

"Oh trust me.. there are ghosts from my past i wish to find, but even with my magic, none will show for me."

Kawatta laughed aloud, still staring at the sun. Which by the way, was still very bright, due to it being mid day.

"Kyehehehe! They can be like that sometimes! It just takes a bit of incentive! Like sometimes, they want you to find an old heirloom. Or sell a year of your life away. Stuff like that! The things you hear about in those funny fairytales! And sometimes, spirits will avoid ya cause ya are just to bland! I find that ghosts tend to flock near people who are a bit crooked in the noggin! And not a lil bit, but a big bit! Like biggie big big bit!.....Buuuuuuuuuuuut but butty! They might avoid ya cause ya smell like garlic after making a fire! Kyehehehe! Woe is you!"

(I gotta split @Kimio. Maybe we can continue this another time. Or maybe even that other roleplay idea. It was fun roleplaying with you! Seeya! ^0^)
