Because I did not take my time on it like I usually do with many of my drawings. The coloring was rushed, the line art was rushed and scribbled, the background was as well, a long with many other things. I did not even take my time to do proper anatomy. So yes, that is why it is sloppy. Pretty colors don't cover up everything.
