And thank you! A lot of people seem to like the Vunreks' design, which makes me happy. My only real complaint so far is that only Spectral Ashwood's entering the DTA, I'm thinking if the next one only gets one entry, or none at all, I won't do any more, it's a bit discouraging.

From what I've seen, DTAs are losing a lot of their popularity as of late, so don't be discouraged by the lack of entires! (Also I meant to enter but then all my vacation madness got in the away along with a huge art block, so sorry about that :S)

Well I'll only give you some snippets, because the full detailed version will be posted sometime in the (hopefully) near future.
I'll admit I did get some inspiration from your Vunrek lore when I was first developing everything :p

One of my cats isn't a problem at all, but it's her sister who is, she'll spend most of the day sleeping in front of me, and then when I'm trying to get comfortable in bed, she'll come up and start licking and biting my face to wake me up X'D

Alright I'll begin it off by saying that the Aitazatl aren't the nicest, especially to human/humanoid species. Or really any race that operates like humans do.
After a war that happened on their home planet they changed their way of living completely. Now the Aitazatl are a race that lives to invade and conquer other planets and control races seen as 'lower' to them.

Everything else detail wise will be explained in the future, but thats the basic premise of the species. There's a whole lot more that explains why they do what they do but I'll be saving it for laterr.

I was inspired by the Vunrek mainly because it was the first species I saw that involved space and aliens in any way. (And I love stuff like that) So I began formulating a plot until that happened.

Also, that's adorable. I have two cats that just scream in the middle of the night, it's really annoying

Now I'm wondering what it would be like if a Vunrek found its way to the Aitazatl's planet, or vice versa... XD

The Aitazatl have a tolerance for dragons mainly because they believe that dragons are superior beings. But I'm pretty sure there would be fighting at some point X'D

But kitty bites are cuuute, unless they're trying to be mean

I bet it would be funny if Thatreath managed to get himself there, it'd take three Comet Vunreks to get him into space, but still, can you just imagine that big ol' santa claus fatty, stompin' around saying "Oh ho ho, merreh grismus!"

And then he accidentally crushes an Aitazatl's tail in his near-blindness and starts another war...

And Cinder could bring chaos like five times over, with how she insults everything and likes getting in trouble

I'm sure the hatchlings would love him, but yeah the Aitazatl's are like really sensitive twitter users, they get triggered super easily.

I think the only reason I like kitty bites because my cat doesn't hurt me when she bites by fingers. But other cats might not be as nice. XP

Oh gosh Cinder would cause so much chaos O.O

I can see it now, Griff--Cinder being the doom of the Vunreks, stealing from the Aitazatl, playing with their tails or their wings, using gusts of wind to blow things over, then gloating about how she's so fast they can't catch her, and insulting them more if she sees they get upset... it'd be the end of the world. And it's even worse because, unless her parents choose otherwise, Cinder's next in line to become the leader of the Comet Clan X'D

Oh no, Cinder don't do it! Don't touch the feathers, don't touch anything! She'd need a babysitter if she ever traveled to the Aitazatl planet, or one of their colonies.
I can see it now too, her, leader of the comet Comet Clan, leading them to annoy their new neighbors.

Oh my goodness X'DD Well, to be fair, I haven't played Sun or Moon myself, so I only know what I've seen on YT about Lusamine, but the whole keeping Pokemon frozen to preserve them and obsessing over certain beasts is what inspired the Keeper's story and personality. Now I'm interested in seeing the leader of the Aitazatl :3

I've played through Moon so I've had first hand experience to know that her team is a pain. But now that you mention it the Keeper really does parallel with Lusamine (with the whole freezing pokemon thing).
The leader of the Aitazatl is actually a light variant, she'll look a bit different from yours but otherwise once you get yours you'll have an idea of what she'll look like.

I'm glad you can see the parallel too! That's why I've chosen the song "Lusamine's Madness" to be the Keeper's theme :3

Mmm, that's true... but I have a feeling they will have their differences, just with the fact that your Aitazatl is a leader of a civilization, if the Keeper tried to go back to her home planet in her current state, she'd likely be arrested and/or put into some kind of insane asylum. If you want to come up with ways to make them dissimilar, I don't mind sharing some details about the Keeper with you.

I don't think we need to worry too much. Knowing me I won't be revealing Miss Chancellor for a long while, by then the Keeper will have already been revealed. So if they're too similar I can tweek some things. I'll let you keep *some* secrets lol.
But I can confidently say the Keeper is probably more crazy than my Aitazatl leader will ever be XD

Well, I don't want her to look human, that's my biggest want, and maybe give her small, glowing eyes, four being the limit. I was slso thinking she'd have medusa/tentacle "hair." Her mouth, nose, and ears I'll leave up to you, if you decide to even give her any. I don't want it to be public yet, though, so there's two things we could do, you could either post it when you know I'm online, I could comment when I download it, then you could delete it, or, you could give me the password for your side account and upload the painting on private, that way you and I will be the only ones who can see it. The choice is yours, and of course, if you choose the second option, I promise I wouldn't do anything mean or... anything really, on your account. >.>

If it'll help you at all, the color scheme for the Keeper's clothes is dark grey with bright green markings, like the Moonlight Vunrek's crystals. And like I said before, her body is pure stick-figure black. XP

Alrighty, I'll keep that in mind when I start sketching things out, hopefully I'll come up with something you'll like. But sadly I think I'll have to leave that for tomorrow, because it's getting really late where I am.
