During Trisena, a fire Aitazatl’s body temperature raises to abnormal levels, making physical contact with their scales would result in serious burns. They have the ability to use the flammable oils that coat their body to light their scales and feathers on fire, engulfing their body in flames. This can be used for offensive and defensive fighting, however the flames will only last for around five minutes before the oils are burned away. While their scales and feathers are resistant to fire after the flames go out the scales are softer and more vulnerable to physical attacks. To protect themselves fire Aitazatl will use their higher body temperatures to increase the intensity of the flames they breathe until either their opponent is defeated or their Trisena ends.

This is the species I briefly mentioned/showed before, their design and name are heavily based off Quetzalcoatl, if anyone was curious. This is my personal one’s full ref. If there’s enough support for these guys I will try hold egg adopts for them in the future when I find the time.

Haha, thank you! Not only does Mal have a new design, he's getting a brand new backstory which I'm working on with Shadow, so you can take everything you knew about him from TDS and throw it out the window. I'm hoping it'll be better ewe

Yeah, I still have a long way to go developing him and his backstory, or so it feels to me, but I'm happy with it so far. Speaking of his backstory, though, would it be fine with you if the... I'm sorry, I'm terrible at remembering new names, but, the beauty of your species I'll get from the DT is involved with Maldius' new backstory?

Well, here's the very very short version of the story: There was once a prosperous kingdom named Altoria, and the benevolent king was a dragon named Maldius. Bad stuff happens, a city's destroyed, and the blame is pinned on Maldius, so three heroes from foreign lands dethrone him and banish the king to a dark world, ruling the kingdom in his stead. The light variant Aitazal would be one of them. When I feel the story is mostly complete and Shadow gets BlackIce's backstory and role done, I'll upload a painting explaining everything in detail :3 I'm currently debating if Mal should have a queen or not, and if so, what's happened to her :p

I have soo many stories I want to share, but my problem is that I want to make them all into RPs, I want to make a Vunrek RP sometime in the future, too X'D

I'm glad you think so! That's part of the reason I want to give Vunreks away so badly, I want to see more people in a RP X'P I think it would be fun, people would be able to see what life is like on the Vunrek home planet, and learn a whole lot about a certain scary Savage variant ewe

Speaking of Vunreks, you never mentioned anything about what you thought of the lore behind them, and I'm really curious about your opinion.

I just hope I can keep it entertaining enough for everyone XP But, it'll be a long while before a real Vunrek RP is announced, I have a lot of lore and details that need to be covered, and Shadow and I need to get the backstory for her Moonlight Vunrek, Yurei, and his twin brother done before anything, since that's the foundation for... pretty much everything. It would be awesome to see you in that RP, though ^v^
