Ash grew up in a very secluded home on East Tremont, around the base of the mountain. There she lived with her father and their pets, doing a lot of gardening and house work to pass the time. Because of her mostly isolated childhood, her personality was affected greatly. Ashton's only slightly shy, but doesn't talk much and prefers to either be alone or with very few people. Despite her shyness though, she can enjoy being out and social, and has little problems with it. She's surprisingly intimidating for her height and appearance, and is pretty handy with medical tools, sharp objects of any kind and generally combat as well, as she's had to deal with woodland predators trying to get at her pets and herself many times.
Ash learned that she was a shifter at a pretty young age, when she was out in the woods before she knew better and to bring a weapon. Her animal form, a female White-Tailed Deer, could be often mistaken for a male, coincidentally enough, as the animal happens to have a very high level of testosterone, thus as Ashton aged, antlers grew.
