Guardian Vampires: Ownership

Property- A Guardian Vampire can have as many people branded to him or her as wanted, however, they may only "control" one victim at a time.

Branding- Branding is the term used to describe when a Guardian Vampire marks tattoo like designs onto BOTH the nape of the neck and the lower back of the victim. For the branding to be successful, the vampire must be touching the victim. It takes a few seconds to fully burn into the skin. The process is excruciatingly painful, like being pricked by millions of hot, dull needles.
Once completed, the markings show information about both the vampire and victim's personalities.

Symbols- Although scientists struggle to find the true meanings in each mark, there are quite a few theories about what some of them mean.
There are thousands of different symbols, and only Guardian Vampires can understand them.

Extra information (not on the drawing)- The skin at the center of these marks glows the color of the vampire's eyes. If the vampire is angry with its victim, the black markings will glow and have the same burning sensation as branding, but will be much more painful.

Although all Guardian Vampires are powerful, ones that can easily control and harness their powers have much more beautiful and intricate designs. Younger, less skilled vampires will give much more simple designs.

Vampires can only brand humans and certain monsters.
