Armin walked quickly but cautiously into the dark passage, glancing back every so often to make sure Jeremiah was following and wasn't about to attack him.

(Actually King, I just noticed I did the last response for Crowley/Morty's conversation, so it's your turn!)

Sheldon hurried along the deserted street, brown eyes constantly flickering from place to place as if he could sense enemies everywhere. 'I-I ALMOST wish I was a shapeshifter... or a vampire or a werewolf or something right now. At least then I'd have nothing to worry about here...'

{About halfway through the tunnel, Jeremiah starts talking.}"Hey, there's something I ought to....prepare you for before we enter my basement. Ummmm, it's where I keep my equipment to apprehend various criminals. That is, it was until my parents started using it as a storehouse......Now, it's an armory.....Just, uh, watch what you touch in there, and take small steps until I can reach the light switch, ok?"

"I'm sure being a shapeshifter would be pretty OK," Tochi said. "But I don't think you can just /become/ one, unlike with vampires or werewolves. I'm sure we'll be fine, though," she added encouragingly.

'Let me guess, there's things in there that will kill me if I go near them,' said Armin dryly. 'All right, I'll be careful.' He reached the end of the tunnel and entered the basement, looking around warily, but unable to see much besides some vague shapes through the total darkness.

Morty glares at him for a moment, a grin slipping onto his lips.
"Well, that's not too far from the truth, my friend."
He then laughs.
"Ah, I've had it for years. I'm probably the strangest looking person it town...Apart from you, of course."

Sheldon let out a small, weak chuckle. 'Maybe things would have been easier if we'd just stayed in that house... I'm sure we would've been turned into vampires sooner or later... but at least we wouldn't be targets...'

His mumbling trailed off as they approached a junction in the road. 'Hmm, uhmm, which way is it again...?'

Crowley's mouth fell open, and for once he seemed genuinely lost for words. 'Me? How am I weird-looking? I don't walk around in public wearing stupid clothes and a huge top hat thing.' He continued walking while looking back at Morty, so he ended up bumping heavily into an open door. 'Who put that there?'

Tochi stopped walking and looked around. "Hmm... should be to the left, according to that sign..." she said slowly.

"Someone who didn't want to walk into it like you just did," Thorn said from the back of the group. "Also, I bet I look normal. In human form, at least."

{Jeremiah nods.}"Yup. Gimmie a sec."{Jeremiah squeezes past Armin and pulls out his phone. Using the dim light, he carefully walks to the light switch and turns it on. The light reveals the numerous weapons and equipment stacked and piled high along all four walls.}"Five minutes, help yourself to anything you might need. {Jeremiah then proceeds to replenish his own supplies.}

'Impressive,' said Armin, his gaze travelling around the room and taking in the array of weaponry. He walked around a few times to inspect everything, avoiding any weapons or objects he thought might be especially harmful to him. Eventually, he picked out a small handgun and tucked it into his jacket pocket.

'I don't need anything else,' he said. 'So, are you going to tell me more about what you plan on doing?'

He sn.iggered, both at his offended reaction and his stumble into the door. Looking to a sign on the wall at the far end of the hall, he reads it out loud.
"Psychiatric ward, hm? Shall we go and see how many crazy people we find? Well, other than you two."
He chuckles again.

'Uhm. I suppose we go that way, then.' Sheldon took the left road. 'Alhough I don't REMEMBER it being this way...' He fell silent, not wanting to worry Tochi by admitting he'd completely forgotten the way back to the gates.

Crowley grinned, rubbing his shoulder where he'd hit the edge of the door. 'HeII yes,' he said. 'Killing crazy people might be even more fun than killing regular people...' He trailed off, his eyes misting over as if he were fondly remembering some previous murder he'd committed.

"If it's not this way, we'll just have to turn back. There don't seem to be many people left here anyway, humans or non-humans," Tochi said, gazing around the deserted street.

{Jeremiah nods as he picks up a large, heavy scoped rifle}"Yeah. Well, I've got this friend in town, she's a shopkeeper. Sometimes, she'll help me out with cases by giving me tips that she hears from customers and around town. She looks normal, but she's actually a pretty powerful sorcerer. Now, she normally keeps to herself, but I was hoping to convince her to help us out by making a trade with her. Up in my wall safe, I have an item that I know is very dear to her. Well, I can't get it now, but I'll figure that out later. Basically, she can help us out by spying on Sargon and identifying his goals and resources."

Sheldon just nodded. He looked a bit sick from nerves. As they continued along the road, signs of the vampire army's attack became more and more visible. Cars lay overturned and abandoned, doors were kicked down and houses were left empty, their smashed windows staring blankly across the street like dark, dead eyes.

"Reminising on a beautiful death?"
He asks, falling in pace with the shifter while glancing back at Thorn.

Armin listened, then nodded slightly. 'She's a shopkeeper? Hm, I might have seen her once or twice. She always seemed a little weird, though I never suspected she might be a sorcerer - I just thought she was another non-human trying to stay alive.' He slipped a hand into his pocket to keep hold of the gun. 'So what are we going to do now - find her?'

'Yep.' Crowley glanced around at Morty, an evil smirk twitching at the corner of his mouth. 'I once killed this crazy homeless guy who'd killed a couple of other people. I stalked him for days and he never knew I was there, it was awesome.'

"That's like, a killing chain," Thorn said with slight admiration(spelling?). "I wonder if the people that guy killed had killed people too?"

Tochi walked close by Sheldon, carefully hiding the fact that she was almost as scared as he was. //He needs someone here to help him stay calm.//

{Jeremiah walks over to Armin, dragging a heavy bag.}"Well, without the item, we can't just approach her." {He looks down and shakes his head.} "She has a hell of a temper, and if she thinks I'm just screwing with her when I tell her what I have, well....Sargon might just become the least of our worries. But, I've got an idea. It won't work until daytime tomorrow, so we mind as well head back. Here, take this bag." {Jeremiah hands Armin the heavy bag.}

Crowley's eyes flickered towards Thorn. 'Probably,' he said carelessly. 'Maybe someone will try to kill ME one day. I won't let them, though.'

When they were about halfway down the street, Sheldon suddenly froze. 'D-did you h-hear that?!' he stammered, sounding petrified.
From somewhere off in the distance, a monstrous howling noise was echoing across the dawning sky.

Armin picked up the bag easily, though raised his eyebrows when he noticed how heavy it was. 'Good. I really need some sleep,' he replied. 'What've you got in here, by the way?' he added, nodding towards the bag.

"Nice. I can't say that I've killed anyone recently, just told other people to."
He shrugs a little.

"Maybe a werewolf, or some other sort of canine shifter," Tochi said quietly. "It sounds quite far away, but we should hurry up."

{Jeremiah gives a smirk.} "Extra gas grenades, ammunition, and something special for our good friend Sargon. Most importantly, ammo for this rifle." {He motions to the heavy rifle on his back.}"It takes two types of rounds, both for dealing with dragons. One is an explosive-tipped 50-caliber shell, the other, a very powerful tranquilizer. It'll put even twenty-plus footers out for a few hours. Get to the tunnel, I'll get the light." {Jeremiah heads for the switch.}

Crowley patted Morty on the shoulder in what was probably supposed to be a friendly way, still grinning. 'You need to kill people yourself more often! Killing's good for the soul, y'know? Don't you just love hearing the screams of the wounded and watching the fresh, slick blood pooling across the floor like a beautiful crimson river?'

(Crowley is messed up, I'm sorry. XD)

'Uhm, y-yes, we should...' Sheldon disintegrated into fearful muttering again as he hurried along the pavement, hoping Tochi would stay close to him. The low howl rang out again, slightly closer this time.

Armin ducked back into the passageway and stood a short way in, waiting for Jeremiah to follow. 'No wonder it's heavy, then,' he said casually. 'I'd be careful, though. Sargon might be prepared for these kinds of weapons being used against him... But they'll be helpful against the dragons, at least.'

Tochi did keep as close to him as she could. She'd forgotten that the place the howls were coming from was very near the place where her dad worked.

Sheldon quickened his pace. 'Where do you think the--' he started to say, but he never even got to the end of his question. A horrible deep snarl erupted from somewhere nearby, and a huge grey-brown animal leapt out of the window of one of the ransacked houses and threw itself upon him, knocking him to the ground. Then it started tearing at him with its front claws.

Ango half-runs down a few corridors, the worry of finding her mother dead making her want to reach their destination quicker. Toby runs beside her, while Keenan follows boredly at the back.

Tochi gave a yell of surprise. Looking around frantically, she picked up a piece of one of the smashed-up cars and started hitting the creature with it. //Oh my god, why could I not have been carrying a weapon or something?!//

Jed sped along at Ango's other side, panting. He often took a sniff to find out if any other living people were nearby.

"Hm, maybe I'll take your advice. After all, there is a kid somewhere in here that tried to stab me earlier."
He begins to grumble a little as he says his last sentence.

{Jeremiah turns off the light and heads into the tunnel guided by his phone light.}"Let's hurry, it'll be dawn soon."

( @Radiant So, they should exit the city through the gates to pick up Ivy, right?)

The wolf-like creature jerked back from Tochi's blows, which were far too weak to seriously hurt it. Nonetheless, it looked angry as it jumped off Sheldon and turned towards her instead, snarling and drooling. It was nearly as tall as she was, even standing on all fours. It had to be a werewolf - one of the rare species of werewolf that could transform without the full moon.

'A kid? Who tried to stab you? Crowley repeated, then let out a nasty laugh. 'I'd have paid to see that.' He looked around, spotting a closed door and turning towards it. 'Let's go look in there, something tells me there are people I can kill behind that door...'

(Aggron: I forgot exactly where I last left Ivy, but I'll say she's hiding just outside the main gates. So, yes.)

Armin made his way back through the tunnel, pulling out his newly-acquired handgun as he reached the exit. 'Back to my hideout outside the city, then?' he asked, looking around for any sign of enemy non-humans.

Breathing heavily, Tochi held up the dented piece of metal. "Stay back," she said, somehow keeping her voice mostly steady. "The Silver Count knows us. I'm sure he wouldn't want you to kill us without his permission..."

{Jeremiah nods}"Yeah. We'll get some sleep before we make our next move." {He exits the tunnel and takes out his revolver.} "This way to the gates."

The werewolf advanced on her, each step slow and measured, as if it were stalking a prey animal. Then it unexpectedly spoke, the words forcing themselves unnaturally through its canine jaws. 'The great Count would never say no to a human being killed. You're making up stories so you can escape alive...' It grinned, showing yellowed teeth. 'But I'm not going to fall for that...'

Behind the wolf's body, Sheldon was stirring weakly. Blood seeped from the many rents and gashes torn in his clothing and the skin beneath.

"I'm not making anything up. He - he told me his plan to dispose of the humans so the non-humans would have the city to themselves," Tochi insisted. "I-if you want proof, ask him yourself."

Armin let him take the lead. Gazing up at the slowly lightening sky and spotting the silhouette of a dragon in the far distance, he flicked the safety off his gun just in case.

Ivy was huddled against the wall on the outer side of the main gates, shivering with cold and nerves. Since she'd run out of the city, she'd spent hours listening to the screams, crashes, roars and howls that echoed for miles around. She knew her friends might be in danger, might even be dead already, but there was no way she was going back into Shacklestone. //What's happened?// she thought miserably.

'Why should I believe you?!' the werewolf roared. His jaws hung open as he began to move in for the kill, but then quite abruptly, he halted. His expression went blank as he seemed to hear something no-one else could hear.

When he focused his gaze on Tochi again, he looked suspicious but no longer enraged. 'The Count says you will be given a fair chance to escape,' he growled. 'But if you run into anyone else before you reach the gates, you WILL be killed.'

{Jeremiah continued on through the alleys.} "We're almost there. Keep an eye out for those dragons." ( @Radiant Are Jerry and Armin supposed to save Tochi, or is what's happening a planned event?)

(Oh, nvm.)

"Okay," Tochi nodded, relaxing slightly. "Thank you for sparing us, sir."
She went over to Sheldon and helped him up. "Oh dear... the hospital's too far away... hm, yes, we'll just have to keep going. I'll find someone who can fix you up as soon as I can," she promised, helping him to his feet.

(Whoops haha, she helped him up twice)

(Aggron: Nah, it was all planned.)

Armin didn't answer, but continued keeping an eye out for anything unusual. As they got nearer to the main gates, he looked ahead and squinted slightly, seeing something that he couldn't quite make out. 'I think... there's a human by the gates. At least, they don't smell like a werewolf or vampire,' he added with a vague hint of amusement.

Sheldon managed to stagger upright with her help, but afterwards he gasped in pain and leaned nearly all his weight on her. 'I - I don't think I can go anywhere...' he whimpered. 'Or at least... not very far at all.'

{Jeremiah looks in that direction, but to no avail.}"Weeeellll, if you're sure it's not a shifter or anything, let's check it out." {After making sure the coast was clear, he makes his way towards the gates while sticking to the shadows as much as he can.}

"It's okay, just... be strong," Tochi told him, allowing him to lean against her. "You'll be fine, I'll get you somewhere safe."

Not looking were she's going, she trips over a large piece of broken wall and falls, banging her face against the floor. Exclaiming in pain, she flips herself over to check her legs, making sure she hadn't injured them in any way. She then moves her hand to her mask, about to pull it back down before noticing blood dripping down her face. After pausing for a moment (and reassuring Toby that she's okay), she pulls off her mask and stores it in her hoodie's pocket, then pinches her bleeding nose. Ango gets to her feet, beckoning the guys.
"Come on. We're wasting time."
She says quietly.

Armin followed, though offered nothing more helpful than, 'Approach it carefully, will you? I'm pretty sure it's a human, but I MIGHT be wrong.'

Jed barked in concern for her, but kept padding along. He could still scent the strange things from earlier - the scaly thing, the plant-y thing, and the seemingly human thing.

Sheldon let out a long, shuddering breath, trying to draw courage from Tochi's calm. 'Uhm, OK... I think I know where the gates are now. We c-continue along this road and turn right at the next junction.' He took an experimental step forwards and winced.

The werewolf eyed them silently for a moment longer, then prowled away. It looked almost amused...

{Jeremiah crept along through the shadows. About halfway to the gates, he takes the rifle off his back and looks through the scope.}

"Don't get me wrong, he caught me off guard. He only managed this though."
He points to his face, where his former slash had become a simple pink mark.
"Let's have a look, see if there's anyone mostly alive."

Tochi nodded and started walking again at a slow pace so Sheldon could keep up. "We're going to get to the gate, we'll find our families, and we'll be okay," she reassured him in a soft voice.

(Aggron: Yep.)

'Can you see it - or rather, them?' asked Armin, moving closer. He could see the human-like shape crouched just outside the gates, but not clearly enough to make out any of their features.

{Jerry lowers the rifle.}"Yeah, I can see 'em. It's a young woman, crouching in the grass looking at, what appears to be a phone? I think she's human. Let's go." {Jeremiah continues towards the gates.}

Crowley strode up to the closed door before anyone else could reach it and forcefully shoved it open. 'Ladies and magicians first,' he said mockingly, smirking as he held the door open for Mortikai and Thorn.

Sheldon nodded tightly and kept walking, hobbling painfully at Tochi's side. His face had taken on a faintly greenish tinge - probably from fear or the shock of his injuries. 'Let's just... not run into any more monsters,' he said decisively.

"Why, thank you very much, my good bird sir," Thorn responded in an overdone posh voice, prancing through the door.

'Young human woman... I guess she's either escaping, or she already escaped and she decided to come back to look for family or something.' Armin shrugged and kept his gun at the ready.

Ivy's head snapped up as she heard footsteps approaching. 'Who's there?!' she shouted nervously into the semi-darkness, holding her phone up to see by.

"Sounds like a good idea," Tochi agreed. "If we hear or see anything clearly not human, we hide as quickly as possible."

"Huh...That scent seems to veer off that way."
Keenan says, nodding towards a branching corridor.
"It's basically a longer way around to where my mum is...They might be going in the same direction."
Toby woofs quietly, ears angling back with worry.

{Jeremiah approaches Ivy, keeping his weapon pointed at the ground. He speaks in a whisper as he steps into the light.} "Are you ok, miss? Are you hurt?"

"Gracias, mon amie."
Morti grins, tipping his hat as he walks after Thorn, seeming to not mind that he used two different languages.

'...OK...' Sheldon replied, his voice becoming fainter with every sentence he spoke. He'd lost a fair amount of blood, and was starting to feel it weakening him, making it harder to put one foot in front of the other. 'If we get attacked again... I'm going to protect you somehow...' he mumbled.

//Clearly they're non-human, whoever's making the scents.// Jed thought, concerned. //They may be here to finish off the last of the humans here.//
He quickened his pace a little.

Ivy immediately leapt to her feet, keeping her phone light trained upon Jeremiah. 'I'm fine,' she replied, her tone suspicious. 'Who are YOU? I thought nearly everyone had gotten away. Wait, are you... one of THEM?'

"We're not going to run into anything bad, but... I'm sure you'll be great help if we do," Tochi said, smiling gently.

Crowley chuckled, understanding most of what Morty had said, and hurried after him into the ward. 'No problem, buddy. Is there anyone alive here?' he asked quietly.

(Draco: i will when i have a moment >:L)

Sheldon didn't answer, trying to conserve his energy for walking. After a few minutes, he mumbled, 'Right up here...' as they reached the junction he'd mentioned before. 'And then just keep going straight ahead...'

{Jeremiah frowns at Ivy.}"No, I'm not 'one of them'. My name is Jeremiah Garvey, I'm a private investigator. You might have heard of me if you read the papers. Look, it's not safe here. We can take you to where everyone else who escaped went."

Tochi followed Sheldon's instructions, supporting him as well as she could.

Ivy stared at him for a moment, then something seemed to click in her brain. 'Oh... I think I remember seeing you somewhere,' she said slowly, dimming her phone screen and lowering it to her side. 'All right. I want to see this safe place you took everyone else. Is it far away?'

Sheldon continued walking, though he started dragging his feet more the further they went. By the time the main gates were in sight just ahead, he was barely moving, letting Tochi drag him along more than anything else.

{Jeremiah tilts his head.}"Eh, it's a bit of a hike through the forest, but it isn't too far. We really should keep moving though." {He then turns to Armin.} "Armin, care to lead the way?"

Tochi kept going, determined to get him to safety. "You're going to be fine," she whispered. "We'll both be safe soon, I promise..."

Ivy nodded a little dubiously, but stepped towards him. 'As long as it really is safe, wherever this place is.'

Armin took the lead out of the gates, and Ivy's eyes widened when she finally realised he was there. 'Is he... a vampire?' she said incredulously.

Sheldon murmured something indiscernible in response, trying his best to stay alert and keep moving. Then, very suddenly, his eyes flew open and his expression changed to one of complete horror. 'Uhm, Tochi, that thing was a werewolf, wasn't it?' he said, his weakened voice higher than usual.

{Jeremiah let out a nervous chuckle.}"Yeeeaaah, but, he's not on //their// side. He was the one who sent out the telepathic message to every human. He's helping me to save as many people as possible and overthrow the guy behind all this."

"Yes... yes it was," Tochi responded, going a little pale. "I'm sure you're not going to turn into one, though... right?"

Ivy nodded again. 'I'll believe you,' she said to Jeremiah. 'I guess you know for sure that the vampire guy's trustworthy, or you wouldn't be working with him, would you?'

'I do have a name,' said Armin from a little way ahead. 'And it's not 'the vampire guy'.'

'It bit me!' Sheldon exclaimed, weakly holding up his left arm to display a set of shallow tooth marks close to the wrist. 'I KNEW I wouldn't get out of here without something like this happening to me! I just KNEW it!'

His small outburst seemed to exhaust him even more, and he slumped against Tochi as they walked, breathing hard.

{Jeremiah nodded.}"Yeah. After all, he's had every opportunity to kill me, and he hasn't yet. That's Armin, by the way."

"Okay, Sheldon, it's okay, you'll still be yourself," Tochi said quickly, trying to comfort him. "In fact, you're safe now! Nothing's going to attack you again, now you're..." she flinched slightly, "'one of them'."

'Well, that's settled then. I'm sticking with you two,' said Ivy, apparently deciding she could trust them both. 'Armin... that's a nice name.'

The vampire in front of them made a noise that might have been a snort of laughter.

'Out of curiosity,' Ivy added to Jeremiah, 'how many people from the city did you manage to save?'

Sheldon stopped looking panicked for a moment and thought about what she was saying. 'Y-yes... maybe I can actually protect you now, if you get attacked, that is.' He let out a small sigh. 'Maybe I'm better off as a monst - I mean, a creature... I won't be quite as useless as I was before.'

{Jeremiah took a moment to think while walking.}"A bit over thirty, I think. I didn't exactly count them."

"You were never useless," Tochi told him. "But maybe you are better off this way. I don't know if I'm meant to be something... maybe I'll stay human forever."

Toby trots ahead a little, sniffing the ground. He glances back at the group, looking worriedly at Ango.
"How much longer is this going to take? I'm pretty sure I need to take you lot out of the city or something."
"We'll go when we find my mum, okay?"
"Alright, jeez, just saying."

'Oh... well, it's nice to know those people got out safely,' said Ivy, keeping her voice calm, though internally she was a little shocked. She'd expected a greater number to have escaped. 'Maybe some other people are still alive inside the city, like I was,' she added, trying to be optimistic.

{Jeremiah becomes a little quiet at that remark.} "If there are, we can't help them now."

Sheldon sniffed. 'I think you should stay a human... if you get any choice, of course. I think that's what you're meant to be. Not... 'one of them'.'

The realisation that he might not be fully human anymore seemed to have given him a new surge of determination, and he limped towards the gates at a faster pace.

'Then we'll have to hope they can survive on their own,' replied Ivy. 'I had friends and family back there. They're probably all dead...'

Armin led them into the forest, following the familiar trail that led to his hideout.

Feeling proud of Sheldon's new strength, Tochi kept going. //Soon! Soon we'll be out of here, and we can find anyone else who survived.//

Inside the room, a person is slumped against the wall and is staring into the corner, muttering something to themselves. Another person crouched near them looks up at the coming group.
"Oh my god! Are you survivors too? I didn't think there was anyone left!"

Crowley spotted the person who'd spoken, and grinned menacingly as he casually sauntered towards them. 'Yeah, we're survivors...' he said. 'It's so nice to see someone else who's alive...' He slowly pulled out a curved knife, making his intentions abundantly clear.

{Jeremiah continued to walk in silence. He was tired and was looking forward to resting. There was a lot to do the next day, and he knew he needed his strength.}

The person who spoke spots the knife moves back a little, standing and holding a scalpel out in front of themselves.
"Y-you don't have to do this!"
"You're right..."
Mortikai grins slightly, the familiar dark mist enveloping him as he shifts into his bengal form, an evil glint in his puple eyes.
"...but we /want/ to."

The scents were getting stronger. Jed could now make out that they were all in human forms, but not human at all. And they were close by.

After nearly half an hour, Armin reached the forest clearing where the small fortress stood. Hurrying over to the front doors, he held them open and invited Jeremiah and Ivy in first.

Crowley paused to watch Mortikai's transformation out of his peripheral vision. Then he let out a cackling laugh of raw evilness and stepped closer to the person, raising his knife higher. 'Do you really think you've got a chance...?' he whispered menacingly. 'Just you against me and my buddies over here?'

{Jeremiah nodded to Armin as he entered the building. He then began to look for a place to sleep.}

(I ought to get going soon. This is fun, but it's past midnight here. XD)

Jed, scenting the fresher trails, nudges Ango in the opposite direction. She looks at him, confused.
"What is it?"
She then looks at Jed, then to Toby again.
"Is...is something nearby?"

Armin closed the door after both of his guests were inside. 'There's plenty of spare bedrooms upstairs,' he called out to Jeremiah. Then he glanced at Ivy. 'Same goes for you. Just find an empty room and make yourself at home.'

She nodded wordlessly and went upstairs, obviously not completely comfortable being left alone with a vampire yet.

Eventually, Sheldon and Tochi reached the main gates. 'Do we, um... just walk out?' he said uncertainly. 'It's probably safer out there, but I don't know where we'd go.'

{Jeremiah raises a hand towards Armin in gratitude and heads upstairs. He picks a room, and heads in for the night.}

Jed nodded with a little bark.

"We could try and find someone nice who'll let us stay with them for the night," Tochi suggested. "If anyone lives near here."

After Ivy disappeared upstairs, Armin went to his own bedroom on the ground floor, locking the door behind him. Maybe he'd be able to get a couple of hours' sleep before the sun came up...

(Got nothing else to do with him until morning comes.)

'I-I guess so. Or we could find a place to stay in the woods?' Sheldon suggested, looking a bit lost. He'd never really had to survive in the wilderness until now.

There probably won't be a session next week, but I won't decide for sure yet.)

{As dawn approached, Dianne continued to work in her basement. As her minions would bring her bodies, she would enbalm them, enchant them, and turn the once ordinary humans into capable minions. With the first light of the sun, her minions had stopped bringing the corpses and Dianne now had a pile of potential servants ready to be raised at a moment's notice.}"That should do it." {Dianne gets up from her bloody work and heads upstairs to wash up and sleep for a while. On her way up, she orders her current minions to clean the trail of blood leading to her basement. //I can't have others following the trail and finding something they shouldn't, now can I?//}
