Name: Lynford, an English name meaning "from the liden tree ford" (a ford being a shallow place in a river where animals or humans can cross)
Nickname(s): Ford, was often called the "Protector of the Forest" in his old home
Age: 276
Height: 18ft head to toe
Rank: Warrior
Variant: Nature
Lynford has always been a quiet fellow, prefering to answer with expressions and careless waves of the vines on his tail. He often rejects any form of relationship, thinking it better to care when necessary instead of all the time. The only thing he truly cares about is the forest he lives in, feeling attuned to every movement and knowing when something's wrong. If any of the large plantlife (e.g. not grass or small flowers) is in danger, such as being on fire or being cut down by humans, he will know about it. Sometimes, if a creature he sees as goodwilled is lost in the forest, he uses his vines and the light of his tail to lead them out, never being seen due to his camouflage.

He often has the habit of standing with his two back legs together, something from his childhood activity of balancing on rocks or logs that he's never grown out of. As well as using them to guide and grab things with, Lynford uses his vines as a "threat factor", which is basically showing off that he's armed to the teeth and more.
When something strange or new comes to the forest, he acts quite aggressive and territorial, calming only when the strange thing proves that it's harmless.

Backstory
-------------
Lynford grew up and lived in his family's forest home for many years, until a strange creature arrived. It looked like a normal stag, but it's coat was nearly white and it's eyes glowed with an odd calmness, yet had the sense of authority behind them. It called itself "the White Stag", and claimed to know events that would happen in the future. It said that a fire would devastate his forest, and if he didn't come with them he would perish alongside it. Lynford threatened the White Stag, angered at the accusation that he couldn't protect his home. It left, but said that it would be back when he changed his mind.
Eventually, a forest fire did spin out of control, trapping Lynford. He had already accepted his death when the memory of the stag crossed his mind, and as a final attempt he called out, saying that he changed his mind. The burning trees that were trapping him in ceased to exist, letting him escape. The White Stag appears to him again, bidding him to follow. Confused, scared, and out of his league, he follows as if he was a child again. They soon arrive in a forest, although Lynford is unsure as to how they got there. The stag tells him that this can be his new home now, protecting this forest and the creatures that inhabit it from the evil that lurks outside. He agrees.
Now, Lynford is the biggest (in both size and threat) member of the "security" in the Sanctuary, wandering wherever he pleases.

It's perfect, I love his back story! You've put so much thought into him, I am extending the DTA but won't be able to announce it for a while, since I'm heading out, as you know now. I want to give other people a chance to enter for him and I had forgotten about the DTA xD
