Samuel lives with his parents and his sick younger sister. He works for his family's woodworking shop, making furniture and home appliances while his father works in the mines. Sam finished Highschool with hopes to attend college to study Woodworking, but his father's absence from the business and his dying sister have been keeping him from doing that. He enjoys carving things out of wood, a skill he picked up from working in the shop for so long. Sam's only dream is that their businesd will last long enough for him to manage it.

Samuel found out that he had the ability to shift at a young age, when he suddenly shifted while chasing mice and squirrels in his backyard. His parents don't know that he can shift, he's terrified of how they would react. His little sister is the only one ih his family who knows about his ability, she's promised not to tell their parents. Every night, Sam sneaks out and shifts to find and steal items and toys to bring back to his sick sister.

She's bedridden and slowly dying, Sam bringing her things keeps her happy. Even though shifting is a risk, Samuel does it every moment he can. It's the only way he can find and steal things for his sister without anyone recognizing him.

Sam is a very confident person, he isn't afraid of most things, especially when it comes to quarrels with other people. Sam enjoys racing and competitions. He likes to joke around with others, he's always playing tricks and pranks. Although he's a joker, Sam can be very serious about things that he's concerned with. Don't ever make fun of his business or family, it might be the last thing you do.
