A friend from high school wanted me to draw depression so I got an idea of a malicious shadow bringing down Brie and making her feel all alone and abandoned while others look on unaware of what's going on. Shapeless images w/o identity to show how strangers are curious but uncaring

This is a really good take on the feeling. For me personally I'd make the shadows the weight of the attack rather than bystanders, because it feels like you're ganged up on really.

Great work! on such an awful feeling as depression that drags you down and you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, just an awful terrible feeling. :)

It doesn't feel like being ganged up on sometimes but more like being abandoned, with everyone just hollow, empty shadows looking on and not doing anything to help
