I'm not sure why but I can see Bel showing his affection to someone/Vortex/ like this. Bel doesn't really show his emotions to a lot of ponies. He's usually seen as monotonous, maybe a smile here and there(he does run a business), but not a lot of emotions are shown. Unless that certain someone is Vortex. Bel shows more emotions with Vortex. He feels comfortable with him. Super comfy.

I am so, so, so, soooooooo sorry! I was looking through some old stuff and your gallery and I found a character you made me in 2015 I've never even drawn once!!!
I'm drawing him soon, and using him in an RP with my friend soon enough so he'll get all the love he deserves! TnT I'm so sorry! I don't know how I screwed up that hard with forgetting him entirely.
