I don't know why you'd call this a flop - it looks gorgeous!! The limited lighting and fading background create such a mysterious and beautiful atmosphere! :D

The colors aren't a total flop imo, their saturation and all is actually pretty fine (to me!) they just need to be a smidge darker so the glow around the instagram icon would be brighter, like you said.

I just loove this though, looks like something outta an RPG. Where's the big ominous castle on one of the floating islands?! There must be one somewhere lol

That would be awesome if you could join! Roleplaying is pretty easy - you could probably learn as you go - but I can definitely give you some do's and don't's if you'd like them.

If you're truly interested, I'm sure you could talk to Kole# about it! You should be able to join so long as you've been Kole's follower for a while.
