Drue is so good tbh I love drawing him, I don't think I can completely give up drawing ponies cause of him, Ive got some plans for more drue pics eeee
And yeah like people do crazy things with ponies but I cant think of any other people, even old ones, that have like full blown beards past the little fluff?? I kinda want to draw loads of bearded ponies now lmao, like one with a big ol' wizard beard and moustache, and some interesting mane styles

I think drue and marcus would get on well, but like, not at first and they wouldnt admit it either, and i like the idea they'd share stories and try and one up each other with scars and injuries

and like there are very few solid ponies, design and story wise tbh, like in the old times everyone just made candy coloured ponysonas and they were all similar and then there was the whole arguement whether or not alicorns or OP ocs were okay and thete was a lot of gatekeeping and then everyone started making over the top and too complicated pones, like drue and marcus (and others of both of ours tbh) have plenty of details without being too much if that make sense but there was a stage where everyone needed either the edgiest half pony half dragon/demon/lion/monster/whatever ocs or 10 colour all powerful OCs that were better than all the princesses combined cause everyone decided they had to be the most different and there was just bad ocs everywhere and all the stories were ridiculously tragic cause people think thst every oc needs a tragic backstory where everyone has died or whatever (although Raville and Wolfgangs parents are dead woops)
