Each Variant of the Vunrek species forms its own clan, and Thatreath is the Chief of the Metallic Clan. He's the definition of a gentle giant, Thatreath is a jolly old soul who seemingly never worries about anything, you could tell him that the world's ending and it probably wouldn't phase him much. He's going blind in his old age, and knows he doesn't have much longer to live, but he still doesn't go a day without anyone hearing his signature deep laugh. Metallics actually aren't much of wyverns, moving around on all fours and digging through the earth, but with great effort, they can stand on their hind legs for a few minutes. Thatreath usually falls over when he tries that, and at least one or two other Metallics follow him around as a result, to make sure he's ok.

Once, a crafty little Comet (*cough cough* Cinder) met Thatreath when he was venturing out of his subterrainian domain to visit the other clan leaders, and told him how, on another planet, strange two-legged aliens greet each other with the phrase "Merry Christmas." Thatreath thought the saying was hilarious, and "Merreh Grismus" has been the casual greeting between Metallic Vunreks ever since.

And yes, his arm is actually that big. I didn't want to draw it on him because I knew it'd cover up parts of his chest XP

I have sooo much lore for this species now, I need to make a whole bunch of paintings for it all X'D
