It's like the better my pictures look the LESS people seem to look at it. maybe I should start drawing simple pictures of f*cking Steven Universe, Bendy and the Ink Machine or Pokemon. That's all that's on this website anymore.

You're not wrong about fandoms fanservice, sure is every where.

I hope you don't feel bad or anything about your art. I mean I'm sure you heard it millions of times, your art is great and amazing in it's own way.

All and all, I hope you find more people to appreciate and enjoy your art for what is and not to sound cliche but the passion that goes with it.

I know, for some reason when I make a stupid 2 minute doodle with no effort that shit ends up in This Weeks Best, I don't understand. 90% of the crap that's there mostly look like tumblr-looking cookie-cutter copies of other pictures...
I thought a lot of people would look at this though, because of boobs in the thumbnail. xD

I'm always looking at everything you post though! Even though I don't always comment, I love your paintings.

Oh and thanks for the anatomy advice! I'll definitely keep that in mind. And yeah, I used to have that problem of learning anatomy from cartoons too. x( I gotta learn realistic anatomy first, THEN use that for cartoon anatomy.

it's sad but true, only fandom stuff gets many likes. the only reason why my posts get the likes that they do is ponies.
that being said, keep working on your stuff-- as you develop it more & more it may draw people in.

same thing's happened to me, i made a tag so i can continue to (quickly) access my old posts. it.s... #accesstag (WOOOO SO ORIGINAL.)

ive actually posted so much s**t that i had to make another access tag, #accesstag2, and ill eventually have to make a 3rd one too.

old posts are always utter cr.ap and are mildly embarrassing, but they do show how youve matured as a person and artist, so theyre not quite a total waste.

i dont view your vent old posts as whiny or you being dumb. one thing to keep in mind is you were younger back then, you werent able to deal with things as well (or rather, you didnt know to keep some things to yourself) so you wound up posting the stuff.

and lol yes there is a f**k ton of anime. a lot of it is from japanese users, too. *insert me getting slapped for stereotyping here*

im easily pleased on art stuff, i see some style i like (which is pretty much everything except some of the so-called "tumblr" styles) and im like "ooh nice" *like* :P

personally I found original art way more interesting than fanart, especially when the characters have a personality & are well made like yours!:o
Actually, I find that colors is getting more original art now. It may be wayyyy quiter than before, but I find more original art now, especially in the trends (is it how this category is called?) & in the week best. Or is it because I'm more into original now?xD idk-
