Apollo is a Nautilius. He works as a diving instructor, among other jobs on the beach and boardwalk around the famous and beautiful Tycen Island. He's writing a comic on the side, titled 'Memorium's of Edward Drive'.

Lyssandra or Li-Li is an Xyolotl, and works with, and is dating Apollo. She works as a lifeguard, and occasional surfing instructor. She helps Apollo develop his story.
