Hmmm, I haven't heard of a terrorist warning in canada, but I haven't kept up with the news so I can't say if it's legit or not.
Does your sister tell you false things to scare you very often? If she's usually honest with you on things like that, I'd see no reason to doubt her.
But, Google is probably your best bet for checking this kind of thing. Better than asking on here, in fact.
