bettas Nightmares
Bettas are the middle class of the Nightmare kind, they very for Omega just reaching this level were they just started to control their hunger and there alternate forms don't look as sickly or thin. To bettas that are close to become Alphas where they can suppress their Darkness and there alternate forms look almost normal with little nightmares resemblance, and there tips of their chains start to form Barb's.
The female pyro Nightmare in the picture is right smack in the middle between, her chest is mostly closed with only small gaps in her Human form.
Betas lags will sometimes be detached at there death pearls, though they look detached they are actually not, they are Bound by Magic just like a Nightmare chest.
(you can't grab one of their limbs and pull it off( well I guess you can but it would be like riping of someone limbs it wouldn't be pretty))
Betas are much more cunning then omegas, they have established their own hunting ground and use there alternate form to Blended in with others as they stock and Hunt their prey.
Edit: unlike Omega, betas can control there body trembled to appear more normal.

Betas abilities
There Predator sense is much more in tune, they can since the aura of other creatures around them, the higher the level they are they better and farther they can sense there prey, some creatures are harder to sense than others, or some Nightmare have a hard time picking out an Aura in a large group of creatures. (Ancient have the strongest sense)
Depending on the beta some can even shadow jump, this is were the Nightmare can melt into the shadows and move though them to travel.
There ability to heal themselves is much quicker as betas, if they sustain too much damage they will usually find a dark spot, in a cave or some other reclusive area and go into a hibernation type sleep as there body repair themselves.in this sleep however the Nightmare may experienced echoes of there certain events on their former life, though most the time it doesn't bother the Nightmare there just memories of a dead Dreamer to them.
