The reason Lydia hates her older brother is because a couple years ago when their father got injured and couldn't work anymore money got tight. So her brother resorted to stealing for awhile until he got caught and went on the run. She feels that her brother abandoned the family when they needed him most and he's the reason why she covers the bottom half of her face. ^-^'
