The council members are deeply respected or feared, depends on the member, but all of them, when at a meeting, hate to be interrupted by youth/non members. Anyone who speaks out of turn and isn't a member is usually punished, tongue ripped out, eyes gouged out, so on and so forth.
Most of their meetings (about 98%) end in them fighting with each other and not just verbally....

Jeremiah is usually quiet and keeps to himself, he has the ability to take life away and save another, by touch only. He's the only one of his kind.
