Centaurs are strong noble creatures. Very tradional and nomadic.

They live in tribes. Anywhere from a tight group of five to sprawling herds of a hundred and rarely settle in any one place for more than a week.

They do in fact pack around skin and fur tents to set up as they go, but can pack them all up in less than hour without a trace.

They are omneverious but prideful hunters. They hunt nothing that they deem 'too weak' so usually take on bison, pumas, wolves, bears, ect.
They are skilled with spears, pikes, and halberds and see weapons like slings, bows, and crossbows as a cowards weapon since they are long ranged.

They live in plains idealicly. Some have adapted to deserts, but they stay clear of forests and mountains.

They have no formal governments. Tribes are led by chiefs or chieftesses that are the strongest in their tribe.
Anyone can challenge a chief to combat to be the new leader, but often the right is passed through families.

Besides the chief their is a council of elders that advise the chief. Usually heros or respected members of the tribe or the very old and wise.

Centaurs more than any other race are concerned for strength.
Males particularly like to prove their skills to attract wives.

However, any sign of weakness is considered VERY taboo.
Being born lame, blind, cippled, deformed, or undersized deems you Une.

Une is an odd term by centaurs. It has two meanings.
Unsutable to ever marry, and eventually became a term for gay males as some Une deemed males took to relationships with other Une males since they could not ever marry.
Even males with perfect genetics who choose male lovers are deemed Une.

Centaurs have few holidays and reclusive from all other races save for elves, with whom they share some beliefs.
