So this was the beginning of the ref for the species I've been developing for the past few months now.
Originally I was going to post some art of this one (mine) to see if there was any interest before offically making them a 'thing' a few weeks ago.
However I got some sudden rush of insecurity? maybe, and well, I never completed the picture. Now I'm on the fence about posting the stuff for them, I have almost completely fleshed out lore and everything.
It’s not that I’m not interested in them anymore, I had so much fun developing their world and background and different variant designs. I just don’t know how to feel about them anymore, they’re not original enough, but it’s too far in my process to really change their designs now so I’m kind of stuck I guess. I don’t want to stop working on them, but I feel like that’s how all this is probably going to end.
I don’t know, I wanted to post this picture so the ones who were curious about the species could at least see what I was working on.

Oooh, but they're so gorgeous!! I love their designs, I don't think they're unoriginal! >u<
I might suggest the occasional pattern or makings on their scales, except that I'm one of the few who like lots of details. XD But really, the design is so beautiful as it is, I'd love to learn more about it! ^o^

Awwww, this species looks so cool though! It looks so awesome! If they come in purple or blue, I'd be verrry interested in having one X'D
I think it's a very unique species, and I'd love to see this finished! I'm curious about the lore, too ewe

Re: Mmmmm, alright. I might be asking too soon, though, as I haven't even posted the Chemist Variant DTA yet (I've changed the color of their crystals from blue to pale purple, to make them glow more), but I'll keep that in mind. I'll do DTAs of every variant, and if some of my good friends (including you!) don't get one, I'll make custom Vunreks if they want one X3
